PROCLAMATION

By His Honor James Macandrew, Esq., Superintendent of the Province of Otago.

IN PURSUANCE of the powers vested in me in that behalf, by the Ordinance passed by the Superintendent and Provincial Council of that part of the Province of Otago formerly the Province of Southland, shortly intituled the “Dog Ordinance 1866,” I, the said James Macandrew, as such Superintendent of the Province of Otago, do hereby authorise the following persons to receive payment of the registration fees payable under and by virtue of the said Ordinance, viz:—

Constable GEORGE WOHLMA~N,
Constable ALFRED ARMSTRONG PENNEFATHER,
Constable PATRICK BARRY,
Constable WILLIAM BEATTY,
all of Invercargill in the said Province :

Constable WILLIAM HANLON,
of Campbelltown in the said Province :

Constable PATRICK FINNEGAN FLEMING,
of Lowther in the said Province.

Given under my hand, at Dunedin, this sixth day of January, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-two.

PROCLAMATION

By His Honor James Macandrew, Superintendent of the Province of Otago.

I, JAMES MACANDREW, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Otago, do, by virtue and in exercise of the powers vested in me in this behalf by the “Roads Diversion Ordinance 1865,” hereby proclaim and declare that all those roads and all those portions of roads in the Province of Otago, mentioned and referred to in the said “Roads Diversion Ordinance 1865,” and particularly described in the schedule hereto, shall, from and after the day of the date hereof, cease to be public roads or thoroughfares, and shall no longer form part of the public roads in the several road districts in the Province of Otago, mentioned in the Schedule to the said Ordinance annexed :—

Caversham Road District No. 17.

(2). Six (6) chains in length, sixty (60) links wide from Main South Road, on section thirteen (13), block VII, Town District, to district road between sections eleven (11) and twelve (12), block VII, Town District : Boundaries—north, City of Dunedin ; south, by sections twelve (12) and part of thirteen (13), block VII, Town District.

Given under my hand and issued under the public seal of the Province of Otago, this ninth day of January, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-two.

NOTICE—Whereas it is intended to stop up the Road which is described in the Schedule hereunder written, and is delineated on the map or plan mentioned and referred to in the “Roads Diversion Ordinance 1864,” Session XIX, copies of which map or plan so far as it relates to the particular road or portion of road intended to be stopped up in the Road District specified in the Schedule, have been deposited at the Public School mentioned immediately after the description of the respective road or portion of road intended to be stopped up in such district : Now therefore I, James Macandrew, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Otago, by virtue and in exercise of the powers vested in me in that behalf by the “Roads Diversion Ordinance 1864,” Session No. XIX, do hereby give notice that all persons objecting to the stopping
