SCHEDULE.

Charles Barnett and Thomas Holt, Skippers, for 10 acres of land, situated at Pleasant Creek Terrace, Upper Shotover.

IMMIGRATION.—Regulations for the introduction of Immigrants into the Province of Otago, on the nomination of persons resident therein.—Persons residing within the Province may obtain orders for Passages from the United Kingdom to Otago, for their friends or relatives, on payment of £5 per statute adult; children over one year old, £2 10s; and under one year, free. Such payment to be made, accompanied by a written application in the following form, to the Provincial Treasurer, Dunedin; the Receivers of Land Revenue at Invercargill, and of Gold Revenue at Queenstown, Arrowtown, Cromwell, Clyde, Alexandra, Naseby, St Bathan’s, Roxburgh, Lawrence, Switzers, Hyde, Macraes; and the Collector of Customs at Oamaru, who will forward the applications from time to time to the Provincial Immigration Office at Dunedin.
Forms of application may be obtained from each of the above officers.

ABSTRACT FROM PREVIOUS GAZETTES.
Of Impounding Notices:—
29th September, Friday noon: A steer and two heifers will be sold at the Otokia Pound.

TENDERS will be received at the office of the Secretary for Land and Works, until noon of Monday the 2nd of October for,
1st, Contract No. 22, Survey of a Township at the Elbow, Taringatura District, about 100 acres into sections of quarter acre, half acre, and five acres.
2nd, Contract No. 73, Survey of Long Bush Township, about 470 acres, into sections of from five to twenty acres.
Plans and specifications may be seen, and forms of tender obtained at the Survey Offices Dunedin and Invercargill.
Tenders to be endorsed “Tender for Contract No. 22,” or “73 as the case may be.”
The lowest or any tender not necessarily accepted.

OTERAMIKA ROAD BOARD.—Tenders for the execution of Contract No. 9 (comprising pile bridge, road formation, and gravelling) will be received by the Oteramika Road Board till noon on the 30th September, at Mr William Dawson’s, Marybank, Longbush; and the accepted tender declared at 2 p.m., same day and place. Plans and Specifications may be seen at Mr. W. Dawson’s. Tenders to be endorsed “Tender for Contract No. 9,” and to be accompanied by a marked cheque or cash deposit of £20. The lowest or any tender not necessarily accepted.—G. F. RICHARDSON, Engineer. Sept. 12th, 1871.

WANTED, a Properly Qualified Teacher for the Main School at Riverton. Salary: Government Grant and the usual proportion of school fees. The probable number of children attending school will be from 60 to 80. A free residence (with about an acre of land fenced in) is attached to the House. Applications with testimonials to be lodged with the undersigned on or before the 30th September, 1871.

WASTE LAND BOARD ADVERTISEMENTS.

NOTICE to APPLICANTS for UNSURVEYED LAND under “Otago Waste Lands Act 1866.”
—The Sections in the subjoined Schedule being now surveyed, the applicants are informed that the Waste Land Board will give its decision on their applications at this Office on Wednesday, the 27th day of September, 1871, at 12 o’clock noon; on or before which day, objections to the survey, if any, must be made. In the event of the applications being granted, the purchase money may be paid forthwith.

Sections 11, 12 and 13, block III, Winton—upset price £8.
Section 17, block III, Wallacetown—upset price £4.
On the ground at Orepuki, at noon of Wednesday, the 11th October, sections 5, 6, 7, 8, block I, Orepuki; sections 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, block II, Orepuki—upset price £5.
N.B.—The purchasers of sections 4 and 7, block II, if other than the present occupants, must pay valuation for the buildings erected thereon in addition to the price of the land.

NOTICE is Hereby Given that 3800 acres, being Waiarika Hundred, adjoining the Districts of Tuturau and Waikaka, and lately under license, is open for application as ordinary rural land at the upset price of £1 per acre. Applications to be lodged at the Invercargill District Land Office.

ISLAND in Blueskin Bay, section 68A, Block I, Waikouaiti District. Tenders will be received for a Lease of the above Section at the Land Office, Dunedin, up to Friday, the 6th of October next. On that date, also, Section 52, block I, Otokia District, containing 12a. 2r. 15p., will be offered for Sale by public auction, at 12 o’clock, noon, at the upset price of 21s. per acre.

NOTICE is hereby given, that Section 20, Block IX, Otepopo District, containing 153a. 3r. 33p., is now open for application as ordinary Rural Land.
