THE North-East Harbor Local Road Board hereby notify their intention of applying to the General Road Board, at their next meeting, for permission to levy a Road Rate of One Shilling per Acre on all the rateable property of the district, for the year ending June, 1872. BLUE MOUNTAIN ROAD DISTRICT.—Notice is hereby given, that the above-named Road Board intend to apply to the General Road Board, on the first Thursday of September, 1871, for authority to levy a Highway Rate of Sixpence in the Pound on annual value of all lands and buildings in said district. The Assessment Roll is now ready, and may be inspected for fourteen days from date, at my house, John Keen, Clerk and Collector, Blue Mountain Local Road Board. Palmerston, August 2, 1871.

MAUNGATUA ROAD BOARD.—Notice is hereby given of the intention of the Maungatua Road Board to apply to the General Road Board in September next, for permission to levy a rate of Sixpence in the Pound on the annual value of all lands, &c., in the district, for the year ending June, 1872. SUPREME COURT.—Notice is hereby given, that a sitting of the Supreme Court, for the despatch of Criminal and Civil Business, will be holden at the Supreme Court House, Dunedin, on Monday, the 4th day of September next, at the hour of ten o’clock in the forenoon; at which time and place all persons bound by recognizances to appear as prosecutors, defendants, or witnesses, are required to give their attendance.
