CITY OF DUNEDIN.

PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given, that the Nomination of Candidates for election to the several offices of Councillors and Auditors for the year ending 1st August, 1872, will be declared on Thursday, the 27th day of July instant, at the Terrace of the Provincial Council Chambers, at the hour of noon.

The Councillors retiring by rotation areโ€”

For South Ward ... Cr. E. B. Cargill
For High Ward ... Cr. Henry J. Walter
For Bell Ward ... Cr. Louis Thoneman

For Leith Ward ... Cr. Arch. H. Jack.

Both the Auditors retire.

Nominations must be in form of Schedule D of "The Otago Municipal Corporations Ordinance 1865," and be lodged at the Town Clerkโ€™s Office, Manse street, where blank forms may be had, on or before noon of the day herein fixed for the declaration.

One Councillor to be elected for each Ward, and two Auditors for the City.
