ABSTRACT FROM PREVIOUS GAZETTES
of Impounding Notices:
23rd June, Friday, noon, a horse will be sold at Lake
Hayes Pound.
30th June, Friday, noon, a gelding and a bullock will
be sold at Caversham Pound.
30th June, Friday, noon, three cows, a steer, and a bull,
will be sold at Clyde Pound.
30th June, Friday, noon, a bay horse will be sold at
South Dunedin Pound.
PUAKANUI AND BLUESKIN ROAD DIS
TRICT—Tenders will be received by the Gen
eral Road Board, up to Saturday the 24th inst., for
clearing about forty chains of Bush on the Mopanui
Ridge, being that part of the road which runs through
section 19 and between sections 51, 52, and 53, Block I.,
North Harbor and Blueskin District.
Plan and Specification may be seen at the office of
the General Road Board, Dunedin, and at the office of
the Harbor Master Port Chalmers.
The Board does not undertake to accept the lowest
or any tender.

WASTE LAND BOARD ADVERTISEMENTS.
LAND OPEN FOR SALE on 22nd February
1871.—See Gazette of 23rd February, 1871,
which may be had at the various Survey and Police
Stations throughout the Province; and at the Land
Offices, Dunedin and Invercargill.
30TH JUNE, FRIDAY, NOON.
EIGHT ACRES of Land in Hokonui District,
bounded by Sections 32, 276, the Pre-emptive
Right on Run 146, and the road fronting Section 258,
Hokonui District, will be sold by Auction, at the Land
Office, Invercargill, at 12 o'clock noon, on Friday, the
30th day of June next. Upset price, 40s. per acre, in
accordance with the 29th Clause of the "Southland
Waste Lands Act 1865."
3RD JULY, MONDAY, NOON.
NOTICE is hereby given that Section 27, Block II,
Dunedin & East Taieri District, containing 86a 3r 11p,
will be offered for sale by public auction, at the Land
Office, Dunedin, on Monday, the 3rd day of July next,
at 12 o'clock noon, at the upset price of 10s. per acre.
Immediately after, Section 52, Block I, containing 17
acres, Otokia, will be offered at the upset price of 21s.
per acre; and Section 20, Block IX., containing
153a 3r 33p, Otepopo District, will be open for application
on and after that date, at the upset price of £1
per acre.
MONDAY, 3RD JULY—NOON.
2460 ACRES—Notice is Hereby Given, that
Block I, Lower Hawea District, compris
ing an area of 2460 Acres, more or less, surveyed in
Sections of from 50 to 100 acres each, will be open for
application at the Land Office, Dunedin, on and after
Monday, the 3rd day of July next.
Lithographed Maps, price 1s each, and forms to
application, may be obtained at the Survey Office,
Clyde.
