TENDERS will be received at the Office of the Secretary for Land and Works until noon of Friday, 26th May, for—
Contract No. 563—Gravelling about 25 chains of Road from Invercargill to the Mataura Bridge.
Specifications may be seen, and forms of Tender obtained, at the Office of the Engineer of Roads and Works, Dunedin, or at the District Engineer’s Office, Invercargill.
Tenders to be indorsed “Roads and Works, Tender for Contract No. 563.”
The Government does not undertake to accept the lowest or any Tender.

Contract No. 564—Carting about 100 cubic yards of Road Metal from the Old Botanic Reserve to between the Imperial Hotel and Hillside Toll-bar.

Tenders to be indorsed “Roads and Works Tender for Contract No. 564.”

ESTIMATES wanted, for the construction of Road Works in the Flagstaff Road District, as follow, viz.:—
1st. For Contract No. 2 of 1, Whare Flat
2nd. For Contract No. 2 of 2, do do
3rd. For Contract No. 3 do do
4th. For the making of creek fords, and approaches thereto, and the diversion of the Whare Creek on Contract No. 4.
Plans and specifications may be seen at the Schoolhouse, Whare Flat, up to Friday, the 26th inst., and tenders must be lodged with the Chairman of the Road Board at his house at Flagstaff, not later than 12 noon of Saturday, the 27th inst.
Mr. Cameron, Woodside, will point out the different works to intending contractors on Tuesday, the 23rd inst., and will attend for this purpose on that day at the Schoolhouse at 1 P.M.—By order,
