PROCLAMATION
By His Honor James Macandrew, Esq., Superintendent of the Province of Otago.
WHEREAS I, James Macandrew, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Otago, did, by Proclamation bearing date the seventeenth day of April, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-one, and published in the Otago Provincial Government Gazette, of the nineteenth day of April, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-one, fix and proclaim that the Twenty-ninth Session of the Provincial Council of the Province of Otago should be holden within the Provincial Council Hall, Dunedin, in the said Province of Otago, and should commence upon Monday, the twenty-second day of May, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-one, at twelve o’clock noon: And whereas I have deemed it advisable to postpone the time for the commencement of the said Twenty-ninth Session of the said Provincial Council of the Province of Otago until Thursday, the twenty-fifth day of May, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-one:
Now know ye that I, the said James Macandrew, as such Superintendent of the Province of Otago as aforesaid, do hereby postpone and alter the time for the commencement of the said Twenty-ninth Session of the said Provincial Council of the Province of Otago until Thursday, the twenty-fifth day of May, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-one, at twelve o’clock, noon, accordingly.
Given under my hand, and issued under the Public Seal of the Province of Otago, this fifth day of May, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-one.
