IMPOUNDED, on the 18th day of March, 1871, by Crawford Anderson, one red Cow with white back, brand like JE on off rib, blotch brand on near and off stump, calf at foot, owner unknown, for trespassing on his paddock, for which 7s. is claimed for damages and driving expenses; and in default of being released, the above Cow will be sold at the Public Pound at Balclutha on Friday, the 14th day of April 1871, at 12 o’clock noon.—GEORGE BARN, Poundkeeper of the Balclutha Pound.
IMPOUNDED on the 26th day of March, 1871, by Constable Anderson, one chestnut Filley, no brand, owner unknown, for wandering on Main South Road; and in default of being released, the above Filley will be sold at the Public Pound, Caversham, on Friday, the 14th day of April, 1871, at 12 o’clock noon.—JOHN ANDERSON, Poundkeeper of the Caversham Pound.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership lately subsisting between us, the undersigned Robert Patterson and Patrick Keppal as general storekeepers, &c, in Cardrona, in the Province of Otago, under the style and firm of "Patterson & Keppal," is this day Dissolved by mutual consent, Mr Patrick Keppal retiring from the Firm. The business will in future be carried on by Mr. Robert Patterson alone, who will pay all debts due by, and receive and give discharges for all moneys owing to, the late firm.
