NOTICE.—Corstorphine Road Board.—All persons not having paid up their respective rates for the year 1870-71, on or before the 20th instant, will be immediately after legally proceeded against.—J. J. EAGERTY, Chairman. Green Island, 6th March, 1871.
NOTICE.—Warepa Road Board.—Those who have not paid their Road Rates are requested to do so on or before 10th April, 1871, otherwise proceedings at law will be at once commenced against them without any further notice.—J. H. MEEKING, Collector to Warepa Road Board. March 8, 1871.
OBSLYN ROAD BOARD.—The time for receiving tenders has been extended to 6 p.m., 23rd inst., in consequence of the following works being included:—Repairing Kaikorai Valley Road, Metalling and Forming a portion of Rose street.—Specifications to be seen at the Kaikorai School from 12 to 1 p.m.—The works will be shown to intending contractors at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, 18th inst.—The lowest or any tender not necessarily accepted.—H. IMPOUNDED on the sixth day of March, 1871, by Edward Morrisey, Farmer, Blacks: one red and white Heifer, branded M off rump; one light strawberry Heifer, no visible brand; owner unknown; for trespassing on growing crops; for which 7s. per head damages and driving is claimed; and in default of being released, the above Cattle will be sold at the Public Pound at Leaning Rock, Clyde, on Friday, the 31st day of March 1871, at 12 o’clock noon.—WILLIAM WILTSHIRE, Poundkeeper of the Leaning Rock (Clyde) Pound.
IMPOUNDED on the 10th day of March, 1871, by Mr. David Anderson, N. E. Valley: one Horse, branded V near shoulder; owner unknown; for trespassing on his paddock; for which £2 10s. are claimed; and in default of being released, the above horse will be sold at the Public Pound at South Dunedin, on Friday, the 31st day of March, 1871, at 12 o’clock noon.—JOHN BAIN, Poundkeeper of the South Dunedin Pound.
NOTICE.—Having this day purchased from Mr. Thomas Livingston, all his right, title, and interest in, with the plant belonging to the firm of Livingston and Co., Asphalters, &c., I hereby beg to notify that all the debts owing to the late firm of Livingston and Co., must be paid to me alone. The business will in future be carried on by me under the style of Robert Craw and Co., who will settle all accounts owing by the late firm.

NOTICE is hereby given, that by virtue of a writ of fieri facias, to me directed and delivered, issued out of this Honorable Court in this cause on the seventeenth day of September last, and of “The Execution of Judgments against Real Estate Act 1867,” all the estate and interest of the above-named Hugh Fraser, the execution debtor, in all that parcel of land containing by admeasurement thirty-six (36) poles, more or less, situate in the town of Havelock, in the Province of Otago, in New Zealand, being section numbered eight (8) block fifteen (15) on the Record Map of the aforesaid town of Havelock, more particularly described in the Memorial of Judgment, registered in the Office of the Registrar of Deeds, in Dunedin, in the Province aforesaid, on the twenty-third day of September last, has, at the suit of the above-named William Strachan, the execution creditor, been levied upon and taken in execution, and will be sold by auction at the Sheriff’s Bailiff’s Office, at the Supreme Court House, in Dunedin aforesaid, on Thursday, the sixteenth day of March next, at twelve o’clock at noon, unless the execution shall be previously satisfied.
Dated in Dunedin aforesaid, this nineteenth day of December, 1870.

William Matthew Hodgkins, of Princes street, in Dunedin, is the solicitor for the execution creditor. The estate and interest of the above-named Hugh Fraser, the execution debtor, intended to be sold, is an estate in fee simple, free from all encumbrances. There is a building upon the land called the Inverness Hotel, with outbuildings, all now occupied.
