Tenders will be received until the last March for a Surfaceman, to employ a portion of his time in keeping the water-tables clear, and the water from destroying the Main District Road. Messrs Wm. NOTICE is hereby given, that the Precept authorising the levying of a rate of 3d per acre on all rateable lands within the district having been issued, ratepayers are requested to pay the amount of their respective rates to me, at my house, on or before 28th February, proximo.
