CHELSEA LOCAL BOARD.—Tenders will be
received up to 2nd January, 1871, for forming
Road Line in the above district.
Plans and specifications may be seen at Mr. Fraser’s

CAVERSHAM ROAD BOARD.—Tenders wanted
for forming and metalling about 25 chains of
Road, from Bay View Hotel to St. Kilda.
Specification to be seen in the hands of Mr. Philip
Brady, St. Kilda. Tenders to be lodged before 5 p.m.
on Friday, the 16th current, with the Chairman of the
Board, Mr. Rutherford, at the office of M’Landress,
Hepburn and Co., Manse street, Dunedin. Caversham,

CHRISTMAS.—The Government Offices will be
closed on Monday, 26th December, 1870.

AUCTIONEERS’ LICENSES.—A meeting will
be held in the Provincial Government Office,
Dunedin, at noon of Thursday, 5th day of January,
1871, to consider the applications of
Neil Fleming, Oamaru.

BEACONSFIELD ROAD DISTRICT.—Tenders
will be received at the house of the undersigned
until 6 p.m. on Monday, 26th inst., for the formation
of 26 chains, more or less, of the Warrington Road.
James Reid will point out the work to intending
contractors on Saturday, the 24th inst., at 10 a.m.—

NORTH HARBOUR AND BLUESKIN ROAD
DISTRICT.—Tenders will be received by the
undersigned, till noon of Saturday, the twenty-fourth
instant, at five o’clock, for certain road works in the
above district. Intending contractors, by meeting at
the Waitati Hotel on Tuesday, the 20th instant, at ten
o’clock a.m., will be shown the works. Specifications
to be seen on the ground. The lowest or any tender
not necessarily accepted.—Duff ELLIS, Clerk to the

WEST TAIERI LOCAL ROAD BOARD.—
Tenders are invited for erecting a Timber
Bridge in the above district. Plans and Specifications
may be seen at Mr. Snow’s Store, Outram, where ten-
ders may be lodged up till noon on Saturday, 24th day
of December instant.
Tenders to be addressed to the Chairman of the
Board.

OPMANHURST.—Tenders are invited for Con-
tract No. 1. Plans and Specifications may be
seen at the Schoolhouse, Otepopo, or at my Office in
Dunedin, from the 26th inst. to Dec. 10th.—JOHN

NORTH-EAST HARBOUR.— Tenders wanted—

  1. For repairing two bridges, and metalling 16 chains,
    more or less, on Road No. 1. Mr. Roger to show
    works and specifications at his house, Bellefield, on
    January 5, 1871, at 10 o’clock a.m. Tenders to be left
    with him on the same day.
  2. Tenders wanted for forming 18 chains, more or
    less, on Road No. 2. Mr. Christie to show works and
    specifications at the Church, Portobello Road, at noon,
    January 5; and tenders to be left with him on the
    same day.
  3. Tenders wanted for widening 10 chains, more or
    less, of Road No. 2, and for metalling part of the same
    —specifying the rate per chain. Messrs. Stuart and
    Christie to show the works and specifications at the
    Church, Portobello Road, at noon, January 5. Ten-
    ders to be left on the same day with Mr. Christie.—
