NOTICE.—The Warepa Local Board Road Trustees hereby give notice to all whom it may concern that unless the Road Rates in arrear be paid in on or before 1st prox., legal proceedings will be immediately instituted without any further notice whatever.—T. H. MERRIKING, Collector. Warepa, August 2nd, 1870.
THE Rate Roll is now ready, and lies for inspection at my house, for 14 days from this date, every lawful day, from 10 a.m. till 4 p.m.—D. M’QuILKAN, Clerk to Flagstaff Local Board. Flagstaff, 2nd August, 1870.
Friday, 26th August, 1870, at 12 o’clock noon.—James Goodall, Poundkeeper, at East Taieri Pound.
IMPOUNDED on the 29th day of July, 1870, by Mr. R. M’Auley, Totara, one red and white Bullock, branded JC off rump, rope and swivel on the neck; red and white Bullock, like JC off rump; strawberry Heifer, red neck, fork out near ear, no visible brands, calf at foot; for trespassing on fenced land; and in default of being released, the above Cattle will be sold at the Public Pound, Oamaru, on Friday the 26th day of August, 1870, at 12 o’clock noon.—Fred. Collis, Poundkeeper.
IMPOUNDED on the 25th July, 1870, by Inspector Mackay, for trespassing on Gold Fields Commonage, for which £1 expenses per head is claimed, one roan Cow and calf, brand like VC, off rump; one yellow Cow, I on rib; one white Cow, blotch brand off rib; two red and white heifers, no brand. IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority in this behalf enabling me, I, Sir George Ferguson Bowen, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby fix and appoint that Sittings of the District Court of the Otago Gold Fields, additional to those already appointed, shall be held as follows:
In the Resident Magistrate’s Court at Lawrence, on the second Tuesday in October next.
In the Resident Magistrate’s Court at Naseby, on the second Wednesday in November next.
In the Resident Magistrate’s Court at Clyde, on the Monday next after the second Wednesday in November next.
In the Resident Magistrate’s Court at Queenstown, on the Monday second after the second Wednesday in November next.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this nineteenth day of July, one thousand eight hundred and seventy.
