NOTICE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that Section 3, Block III, Kuriwao District, will not be sold with the survey buildings thereon, as previously advertised, but will be offered alone (the buildings being retained by Government) with a reservation of right to remove the same within four months after the sale.

£1,500 REWARD, AS UNDER.
REWARD
WHEREAS on the morning of the 1st instant, the Police Station at Clyde, in the Province of Otago, was broken into, and treasure to the amount of £13,032 stolen therefrom, consisting of gold to the value of £7875, and Bank notes £5157, the numbers of which are known.
It is hereby notified that a Reward of £500 will be paid to any person or persons who shall give such information as may lead to the conviction of the offenders and the recovery of the stolen property.
It is further notified, that His Excellency the Governor offers a FREE PARDON in the event of the person giving such information being an accomplice in the robbery.

WHEREAS, on the morning of the 1st of August instant, the Police Station at Clyde was broken into, and 769ozs. 14dwts. of Gold, and £2092 in Bank Notes, belonging to the Bank of New Zealand, stolen therefrom:
This is to notify that a Reward of £250 will be paid by the Bank of New Zealand to any person or persons who may give such information as will lead to the apprehension and conviction of the offender or offenders; and a further reward of £250 for the recovery of the above-mentioned property, or, of this latter amount, a sum in proportion to the value of the property so recovered.

Notice of Withdrawal of Application for Mining Lease.
HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that the application of Edward Curling (for the Mount Ida Extended Sluicing Company) for a lease for mining purposes of five acres of land in Main Gully, Hogburn, made on 14th March, 1866, has been withdrawn by the said Edward Curling, and that the said land is now open for occupation by persons holding Miners’ Rights or Business Licenses, or to applicants for leases, in the same manner as if no lease of the said land had ever been applied for.
Given under my hand at Naseby, this first day of August, one thousand eight hundred and seventy.

PUBLICANS’ LICENSES
The Quarterly Meeting for granting Licenses, &c., will be held in the various Magistrates’ Offices throughout the Province proclaimed under the Ordinance, at noon upon Tuesday, the sixth day of September, 1870. All applications and notices of business must be lodged with the Clerks of Court respectively at least fourteen clear days before the said meeting.

A Meeting of the Education Board will be held at the Government Buildings, Dunedin, on Thursday, the 18th August, 1870, at noon.

SUPREME COURT
Notice is hereby given that a Sitting of the Supreme Court for the despatch of Criminal and Civil Business, will be holden at the Supreme Court House, Dunedin, on Monday the fifth day of September next, at the hour of ten o’clock in the forenoon, at which time and place all persons bound by recognizances to appear as Prosecutors, Defendants, or Witnesses, are required to give their attendance.
