NOTICE.
FREE PARDON TO AN ACCOMPLICE.

Wellington, 4th August, 1870.
WHEREAS on the night of Sunday, the 31st day of July last, or early on Monday morning, the 1st day of August current, a large number of Bank Notes and a quantity of Gold the property of the Bank of New Zealand and the Bank of New South Wales, was stolen and carried away from the Police Station at Clyde, in the Province of Otago:
This is to notify, that His Excellency the Governor will grant a Free Pardon to any person implicated in the robbery of such notes and gold, who shall give such information as shall lead to the apprehension and conviction of one or more of the other offenders.

NOTICE.
£500 REWARD.
WHEREAS on the morning of the 1st instant the Police Station at Clyde, in the Province of Otago, was broken into, and treasure to the amount of £13,981 stolen therefrom, consisting of Gold to the value of £7,871, and Bank Notes £6,110—the numbers of which are known: It is hereby notified that a Reward of £500 will be paid to any person or persons who shall give such information as may lead to the conviction of the offenders, and the recovery of the stolen property.
It is further notified that His Excellency the Governor offers a Free Pardon in the event of the person giving such information being an accomplice in the robbery.
