CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PORT CHALMERS.

The Nomination of Candidates for election to the office of Mayor for the Municipal year ending 1st August, 1871, will be declared on Saturday, the 16th of July instant, at the Town Hall, at the hour of noon.

Nominations must be in form of Schedule D of the “Otago Municipal Corporations Ordinance, 1865,” and be lodged at the office of the Town Clerk, Town Hall, Currie street, where blank forms may be had, on or before noon of the day herein fixed for the declaration.

SCHEDULE A.

I, the undersigned, Thomas Black, hereby make application to Register the Colclough Quartz Reef Company (Registered), under the provisions of the “Mining Companies Limited Liability Act 1865,” and I do solemnly and sincerely declare that the following statement is, to the best of my belief and knowledge, true in every particular, namely:—

  1. The name and style of this Company is the Colclough Quartz Reef Company (Registered).

  2. The place of operations is at Bendigo Gully, near Cromwell.

  3. The nominal capital of the Company is eight thousand four hundred pounds in forty-eight shares of one hundred and seventy-five pounds each.

  4. The amount paid up in cash is nothing, and the amount allotted in partly paid shares is four thousand eight hundred pounds, being the estimated value of the Company’s claim.

  5. The name of the Manager is Thomas Black.

  6. The Office of the Company is at Manse street, Dunedin.

  7. The names and several residences of the Shareholders and the number of shares held by each at this date are as follows:—
