SECTION 20, Block II, Tuapeka District, having been applied for by more than one applicant on the same day, notice is hereby given that it will be offered for sale by public auction, in terms of the 5th clause of the Otago Waste Land Act, 1866, at the Survey Office, Lawrence, on Monday the 25th day of July next, at noon, at the upset price of £1 per acre.
TOWNSHIP OF TAPANUI.—Notice is hereby given, that the auction sale of the Township of Tapanui is postponed till Thursday, the 14th July, 1870, at noon.

NOTICE is hereby given, that Fitzherbert Roberts having failed to execute the Agricultural Leases prepared in his favor for Section 20, Block XIX, and Sections 35, 37, and 38, Block IV, Shotover District, the same have been cancelled, and the land is now open for application under the Agricultural Lease Regulations.

NORTH-EAST VALLEY ROAD DISTRICT.—The Local Road Board hereby notify their intention of applying at the next sitting of the General Road Board, on the 1st Thursday of August, 1870, for authority to levy a highway rate of sixpence in the pound. The Assessment Roll for the above District is now ready, and may be inspected by the ratepayers at Mr. Thomas Brown’s Hotel, N.E. Valley, for fourteen days from the date of this notice.
