CORRECTED NOTICE.

ASHLEY DOWNS ROAD DISTRICT.—Election of Local Board of Road Trustees: In pursuance of the “Otago Roads Ordinance 1865,” and the “Otago Roads Ordinance 1865 Extension and Amendment Ordinance,” I hereby convene a meeting of the persons liable to be rated for roads in the above-named district, such meeting to be held at the house of Mr. Geo. Gibson, within the said district, on Saturday, 16th July, 1870, at noon, for the purpose of electing a Local Board of Road Trustees to serve for the year ending June, 1871.

Note.—The attention of ratepayers is specially directed to the 9th, 10th, and 11th Clauses of the “Otago Roads Ordinance 1865” for mode of procedure at electoral meetings.

GUNPOWDER MAGAZINE.

PARTIES in possession of, or who are prepared to erect, a suitable building in the vicinity of Dunedin, outside the boundaries, for the storage of gunpowder, are requested to communicate in writing, to me, on or before the 18th July, 1870, giving a description of the proposed building, how far situated from other buildings, the rate proposed to be charged for storage, with any other information deemed useful.

ELECTION of Local Boards Road Trustees.—Ratepayers in the undermentioned Road District having failed to elect a Local Board to serve for the year ending June, 1871. Notice is hereby given, that a Meeting is appointed to be held for the purpose of electing five duly qualified persons to serve as a Local Board as under:—

Milburn: Tuesday, 12th July, 1870, Gorge School, at 4 p.m.

Clerk General Road Board.


ELECTION OF LOCAL BOARDS ROAD TRUSTEES.—Ratepayers in the undermentioned Road District having failed to elect a Local Board to serve for the year ending June, 1871. Notice is hereby given, that a Meeting is appointed to be held for the purpose of electing five duly qualified persons to serve as a Local Board as under:—

Enfield: Saturday, 16th July, 1870, at the house of Mr. James Finch, at noon.

Incholme: Saturday, 16th July, 1870, School house, at 3 o’clock p.m.
