WANTED, for the Black District School, a Teacher, Salary £150 per annum. Applications, with testimonials, to be forwarded to the Education Office, Dunedin, on or before the 1st of June.

£2 REWARD.—Strayed from Waikouaiti on or about the 24th Sept., 1869, black Horse, heavy draught; no visible brand. Anyone giving such information as will lead to recovery of same to Anderson and Mowat, Dunedin, or T. Anderson and Co., Hawksbury, will receive the above reward.

NOTICE.—All parties in the Warepa Road District not having their rates paid, are requested to pay the same immediately, otherwise legal proceedings will be taken without further notice.—W. A. BEWS, Collector.

COPMANHURST ROAD DISTRICT.—Notice is hereby given, that the precept authorising the collection of a Highway Rate of Fourpence (4d.) per acre, has been issued by the General Board. Ratepayers are therefore requested to pay the amount of their respective rates to the undersigned at the School house, Otepopo, on or before the 12th day of June next.

NOTICE is hereby given, that Regulations entitled “Regulations, &c. of Buildings,” and made under the authority of subdivision 1, part V, schedule XIII of the “Municipal Corporations Act 1867,” were passed by the Council of the City of Dunedin, at an ordinary meeting held on Wednesday, the 13th day of April, 1870. Also, that a copy of the Regulations, as passed, is deposited for the inspection of any person interested therein, at the office of the City Council, Dunedin.

SUPREME COURT.—Notice is hereby given, that a sitting of the Supreme Court, for the despatch of Criminal and Civil Business, will be holden at the Supreme Court-house, Dunedin, on Monday, the sixth day of June next, at the hour of ten o’clock in the forenoon, at which time and place all persons bound by recognizance to appear as prosecutors, defendants, or witnesses, are required to give their attendance. Notice is hereby further given, that the Civil Cases will not be called on for trial until Monday, the thirteenth day of June, at ten o’clock in the forenoon.

IMPOUNDED on the 17th day of May, 1870, by John McKellar, Esq., Tapanui Station: one Bay Mare, star on forehead, enlargement of near fore hoof, branded like XL, or RL near neck; owner unknown; for trespassing on Tapanui Station, for which £4 stg. damages are claimed, and in default of being released, the above mare will be sold at the Public Pound at Tapanui, on Friday, the 17th day of June, 1870, at 12 o’clock noon.—ALEX. MACGREGOR, Poundkeeper of the Glenkenich Pound.
