HERBERT ROAD DISTRICT
The precept authorising the Collection of a Highway Rate of one shilling per pound sterling of annual value in this District having been issued, Rate-payers are hereby informed that the Rates must be paid to the undersigned at the schoolhouse, Herbert, on or before the twenty-third day of May next. -- Alex. NORTH-EAST HARBOUR
Parties who have not yet paid road rates in the North-East Harbour District are hereby notified that legal measures will be adopted to recover all rates not paid on or before the 14th of May, 1870. Payment to be made to Mr. Forrester, Collector, at his residence; or to the Clerk, at the schoolhouse. -- George P. Belt, Clerk to the Board.
NOTICE
For the convenience of Rate-payers of the Deborah Bay Road District, the Collector will attend at Mr. Denche's Hotel, Port Chalmers, on Saturday, the 14th inst., from 10 to 12 o'clock A.M., for the purpose of receiving the highway rate for the year 1869-70, now over-due; and, further, notice is hereby given that all rates not paid by that date will be sued for in the customary manner. -- Geo.
