Otanomo Road Rate Notice.—Parties who have not paid their Rates for 1869-70 are requested to do so within fourteen days from this date, otherwise legal proceedings will be taken to recover the same.—John Forsyth, Collector.

Impounded on 10th February last, one Roan Cow and a Calf, marked R (reversed) off shoulder, fallen off ear; owner unknown; for trespassing, and in default of being released the above cattle will be sold at the Public Pound at Oamaru, on Friday, 20th May, 1870, at noon.—Fred. Gourley, Poundkeeper, Oamaru.
Opmanhurst Road District.—The Local Board hereby notify their intention of applying, at the next sitting of the General Road Board, for authority to levy a Highway Rate of fourpence per acre. The Assessment Roll for the above district is now ready, and may be inspected at the School-house, Otepopo, for fourteen days from the date of this notice.

Notice to Ratepayers in Brighton Road District.—It is hereby notified to the ratepayers who have not paid the Highway Rate, 1869-70, that the commutation money due by them in this district, for the year ending 25th June, 1870, must be paid to me, within fourteen days from this date, otherwise legal proceedings will be taken for the recovery of the same.—Allan Cameron, Collector.

Notice.—Broad Bay District.—Parties in arrear of Road Rates, will please pay their respective amounts to me, at my house, within 21 days from this date, otherwise legal proceedings will be taken to recover the same.—James Sexton, Clerk and Collector.

Blueskin Road Rates.—Notice is hereby given, that all outstanding Rates will be sued for after the 10th May, 1870.—John Aitken, Clerk and Collector.

Impounded on the 2nd day of April, 1870, by Mounted Constable Culliford, West Taieri: one Red Cow, branded like 3qL near rump, and like horse-shoe off rump; one Red Calf, progeny of the above cow; owners unknown; for trespassing on public road, East Taieri; for which sixpence per head is claimed for driving to the pound; and in default of being released, the above cattle will be sold at the Public Pound at West Taieri, on Friday, the 29th day of April, 1870, at 12 o’clock noon.—Michael Tynan, Poundkeeper of the West Taieri Pound.
Impounded on the 16th day of April, 1870, by William Sibbald, Caversham: one Bay Mare, branded JC off shoulder; owner unknown; for trespassing on Mr. Sibbald’s paddock, Caversham; for which no damage is claimed, and in default of being released, the above mare will be sold at the Public Pound at Caversham on Friday, the 31st day of May, 1870, at 12 o’clock noon.—John Anderson, Poundkeeper of the Caversham Pound.
