PROVINCE OF OTAGO
PUBLIC NOTIFICATION
In conformity to the 29th Section of the "Gold Fields Act 1866," and to the Regulations made under that Act and the Gold Fields Acts Amendment Acts of 1867, 1868, and 1869, for the granting of leases for gold mining purposes within the Province of Otago, it is hereby notified that it is intended to grant a lease for gold mining purposes of Crown Lands to the applicant specified in the annexed Schedule, unless there shall be valid objections against granting such lease.
Objections to the granting of such lease, stating the grounds of objection, must be made in writing and lodged with the Warden, at Queenstown, on or before the 13th day of May, 1870.
Copy of the application made, and plans annexed, may be seen at the Warden’s Office at Queenstown.
Given under my hand, at Dunedin, this nineteenth day of April, one thousand eight hundred and seventy.

Thirty-nine chains in length, one chain wide, from north-west angle of section 12, block twenty-eight, to south-east angle of section twelve, block twenty-eight. Boundaries: both sides, section twelve, block twenty-eight, Clutha Survey District.

Three hundred and forty chains in length, one chain wide, from road line on section six, between blocks twenty-eight, Clutha, and block one, Warepa, to road line between blocks twenty and twenty-one, Clutha. Boundaries: north and east, blocks twenty-eight, twenty-nine, twenty-four, twenty-five, and twenty, Clutha; west and south, blocks twenty, twenty-five, twenty-four, twenty-three, and twenty-eight, Clutha Survey District.

KURIMOTO ROAD DISTRICT — Notice
Tenders wanted for certain works in Kurimoto District.
Specifications to be seen at Mr. Jenkin’s on and after Friday, the 22nd inst.
Parties intending to tender for the same to meet the Local Board on Saturday, the 30th inst. at Mr. Barry’s house, who will go over and point out the works to them.
All tenders to be lodged with me, on or before Wednesday, 4th May.

NOTICE — The Broad Bay Road Board invite
Tenders for the formation of 16 chains, more or less, of a track round the beach of Hooper’s Inlet. Mr. Joseph Young will show the work between the hours of 12 and 2 p.m., on Saturday, 23rd April, and tenders must be sent in to him, on or before 12 p.m., on 25th inst.
TENDERS wanted for the Erection of a School-house for South Bridge District
Plans and specifications will be seen till the 26th April, at the Office of R. R. Jones, Milton.
OMAHAWK ROAD BOARD
Wanted, Tenders for Forming about 8 Chains, more or less, of Road Line in the above-named district. Intending contractors will meet upon Wednesday, 28th April.
