FLAGSTAFF ROAD DISTRICT.—Tenders will be
received by the undersigned up to noon of Saturday,
the 12th instant, for formation of about 60 chains
of Road. Plans and specifications to be seen at my
office, No. 1 Chambers, Princes street, opposite
Government Buildings.—E. R. Ussher, Engineer to the
Board.
ALL DAY.—Tenders will be received up to the 17th
March, for Contracts 2, 3, and 4. Plans and
Specifications may be seen at my office, Moray Place
East, Dunedin, or at the Post Office, Herbert, Otepopo.

OTAGO SCHOOL OF ART.
Mr. Hutton, Provincial Drawing Master, will
shortly open the following mentioned Drawing
Classes in the New Post Office Building, Princes street,
Dunedin :—

A class for Teachers and Pupil Teachers upon
Saturday, the 5th March, 1870, at 11 o’clock a.m.
All teachers, whether public or private, are invited to
attend. Admission free. -
A class for Girls upon Monday, the 28th of February,

This class will meet from 2 till 4 o’clock
p.m., upon Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Fee,
15s. per quarter, of ten weeks. -
A class for the pupils of the High School upon
Tuesday, the 29th February, 1870. This class will
meet from 3 till 4 o’clock p.m., upon Tuesdays and
Thursdays. Admission free. Youths not attending
any of the Government Schools will be admitted as
pupils of this class on payment of a fee of 10s. per
quarter, of ten weeks.
Arrangements will shortly be made for the teaching
of Drawing, as far as practicable, in the District
Schools, and for the opening of an Evening Drawing
Class.

EDUCATION MEETING.—The Inhabitants of
Kauri Bush and Vicinity are requested to meet
at the house of Mr. Alex. Dickson upon Monday the
14th March, at half-past 7 o’clock p.m., to elect a School
Committee for the current year.

WANTED, a Master for the Awamoko School.
Salary £100 per annum, with School Fees, a
free residence, and a four-acre paddock. Applications

WANTED.—A MASTER, and also a SEWING
MISTRESS, for the Kaikorai District School.
Master’s salary, £100 per annum, with fees added—a
further sum of £25 per annum allowed to pay house
rent; Sewing Mistress, £25 per annum. Married
couple preferred. Applications, with testimonials, will
be received by the undersigned up to March 26th,

SAWYER’S BAY SIDE SCHOOL.—WANTED, a
Teacher for the above School. Salary £75 per

Section 2 of 19, Block I, Otago District, containing
132a. 0r. 9p.; and
Section 26, Block V, Dunedin and East Taieri Dis-
triet, containing 90a. 3r. 23p.,
will be offered for sale by public auction, under
the 35th clause of the “Otago Waste Land Act 1866,” at
10s. per acre, and that the north half 3, now called 61,
Block VIII, Otepopo District, containing 79a. 3r., will
be put up as Land of Special Value, in the Land
Office, Dunedin, in terms of the 64th clause of the
said Act, at the upset price of 21s. per acre, on Wed-
esday the ninth day of March next at noon.
