CROWN GRANTS

Persons in whose favor Crown Grants have been signed, can only obtain them by calling at the Crown Grant Office, or by sending an Agent with an authority in the subjoined form, signed before a Justice of the Peace, a Solicitor of the Supreme Court, a Clergyman, or Postmaster.

SUPREME COURT

Notice is hereby given, that a Sitting of the Supreme Court for the despatch of Criminal and Civil Business will be held at the Supreme Court House, Dunedin, on Tuesday, the first day of March next, at the hour of ten o’clock in the forenoon; at which time and place all persons bound by recognizances to appear as Prosecutors, Defendants, or Witnesses, are required to give their attendance.

Notice is hereby further given, that the Civil Cases will not be called on for trial until Thursday, the tenth day of March next, at ten o’clock in the forenoon.


DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP

Notice is hereby given, that the partnership formerly carried on by William Driver and William Rayner, under the firm of “Driver and Rayner,” at Oamaru, in the Province of Otago, was on the 4th day of February, 1869, dissolved by mutual consent.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP

Notice is hereby given that all partnerships heretofore existing between us have been by deed dissolved, as and from the first day of April, 1870. All accounts due to the firms of “Shrimski and Moss,” and “S. E. Shrimski,” respectively, must be paid to Mr. S. E. Shrimski, on or before the first of March, 1870, or legal proceedings will be commenced without notice for the recovery thereof. All accounts against the said firms are requested to be sent to Mr. S. E. Shrimski, before the said first day of March next, after which no accounts will be recognised.

MUNICIPALITY OF CROMWELL

EXTRAORDINARY VACANCIES

I hereby give notice that the Council have appointed Tuesday, the 22nd inst., at noon in the Town Hall, as the day of nomination of a Councillor for Bridge Ward, and a Councillor for Kawarau Ward, in the room and stead of Mr. Jas. Dawkins, and Mr. R. E. Dagg; and day of Election, if any, Friday, the 25th instant.
