PORT OBELLO ROAD BOARD.—Tenders will be received by the Clerk of the Board up to February 26th, for the under-mentioned works:—
Contract No. 10. Forming and Metalling a portion of Hooper’s Inlet Road. Mr. W. Dickson will show intending Contractors specifications and work on Friday, 25th inst., at 1.2 p.m.
Contract No. 11. Clearing bush on road from Hooper’s Inlet to Papanui Bay, and making Beach Track to Papanui Bay. Mr. W. Geary will show intending Contractors specifications and work on Friday, 25th February, at 11 a.m.
The Board does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.
TENDERS WANTED for the erection of a School-house at Catlin’s River. Plans and specifications to be seen at Mr. Harrold, Owaka Flat. Tenders to be lodged on or before the 26th inst.—B. HARROLD, Secretary-Owaka Flat School Committee, Catlin’s River.
OTAGO SCHOOL OF ART.
MR. HUTTON, Provincial Drawing Master, will shortly open the following mentioned Drawing Classes in the New Post Office Building, Princes street, Dunedin:—

A class for Teachers and Pupil Teachers upon Saturday, the 5th March, 1870, at 11 o’clock a.m. All teachers, whether public or private, are invited to attend. Admission free.

A class for Girls upon Monday, the 28th of February, 1870. This class will meet from 2 till 4 o’clock p.m., upon Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Fee, 15s. per quarter, of ten weeks.

A class for the pupils of the High School upon Tuesday, the 29th February, 1870. This class will meet from 3 till 4 o’clock p.m., upon Tuesdays and Thursdays. Admission free. Youths not attending any of the Government Schools will be admitted as pupils of this class on payment of a fee of 10s. per quarter, of ten weeks.
Arrangements will shortly be made for the teaching of Drawing, as far as practicable, in the District Schools, and for the opening of an Evening Drawing Class.

FLAGSTAFF ROAD DISTRICT.—Tenders will be received until noon of Saturday, 26th inst., by the undersigned for Removing and Putting-up about 7 chains of Fencing on road line Whare Flat; also, Supplying and Putting-up about 7 chains of New Fencing, same place.

FLAGSTAFF ROAD DISTRICT.—Tenders will be received by the undersigned up to noon of Saturday, 26th inst., for formation of 2 miles and 14 chains of road.
Mr. Nicol will be at Mr. L. Haughton’s at 2 o’clock on the 22nd inst. to point out ground to intending contractors. Plans and specifications to be seen at my Office, No. 1 Chambers, Princes street, opposite Government Buildings.—E. R. Ussher, Engineer to Board.
PUERUA ROAD BOARD.—Tenders are invited by the above Road Board, for Forming and Opening Up, by intaking of Cuttings and Embankments, a portion of the Block Road Line between Blocks X and XIV, Clutha Survey District; and also, for Repairing Bridge and forming Approaches to it, on the road leading to Awakiku Bush Reserve.
Mr. Anderson, Bridgend, will show intending Tenderers the Road Line and Specifications, &c., &c., on the 23rd current, at 12 o’clock noon. Tenders to be lodged with the Clerk to the Board not later than the 27th current. The lowest or any tender not necessarily accepted.—By order of the Puerua Local Road Board. February 3rd, 1870.
PINE HILL ROAD DISTRICT.—Tenders and Plan are invited for the erection of a Foot Bridge (rough timber) over the Waitati, Block I, Blueskin. The site will be pointed out by Mr. James Cowan on Friday, 4th March, and tenders to be lodged with the undersigned not later than Tuesday, 8th March.
The lowest or any tender not necessarily accepted.

TENDERS WANTED for the Oamaru Grammar School, a Second Master. Salary, £200 per annum. Other qualifications being equal, preference will be given to a gentleman competent to teach vocal music. Applications, with testimonials, will be received up to February 28th, 1870.

WANTED, a Master for the Awamoko School. Salary £100 per annum, with School Fees, a free residence, and a four-acre paddock. Applications with testimonials to be lodged with me before the 15th March, 1870.
