(where blank forms may be had) on or before the 8th day of February, 1870, and a copy of such notice of appeal must be delivered by the appellant to the Clerk of the Resident Magistrate’s Court, Dunedin, six clear days before the day of hearing.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At Auckland, this seventh day of January, 1870.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
Now, therefore, His Excellency Sir George Ferguson Bowen, the Governor of New Zealand, in pursuance of the said recited power and authority, and by and with the consent of the Executive Council, doth by this present Order alter clause fifty-six of the aforesaid Regulations, and doth revoke clauses two hundred and nine, two hundred and ten, and two hundred and eleven thereof, and doth make the alteration and substitutions specified in the Schedule hereinafter written; and further doth declare that this Order shall take effect on and after the first day of January, one thousand eight hundred and seventy.
SCHEDULE.
Registered Letters.
Clause 56. The Colonial fee on registered letters for places beyond the Colony will be reduced from one shilling to sixpence.
Late Letters.
Clause 209. Late letters for places beyond the Colony will be received until twenty minutes of the hour of despatch from the Post Office, providing such letters bear each, in postage stamps, an additional single rate of postage over and above the full postage rate.
Clause 210. Late letters for town delivery will be received until within ten minutes of the hour of despatch of the letter-carriers from the post office, providing such letters bear each, in postage stamps, an additional single rate of one penny over and above the full postage rates.
Late letters for delivery at any post office within the Province other than that at which they are posted will be received until within twenty minutes of the hour of despatch, providing such letters bear each, in postage stamps, an additional single rate of two pence over and above the full postage rates.
Late letters for delivery at any post office in any other Province within the Colony will be received until within twenty minutes of the hour of despatch from the post office, providing such letters bear each, in postage stamps, an additional single rate of three pence over and above the full postage rates.
In case any late letter is posted at a post office without the appropriate late fee, it will be detained until the next despatch.
Clause 211. Letters posted in receiving boxes on board of vessels also require the late fee and postage which would be required if posted as late letters at a post office. Should such late fee or postage, or any portion thereof, be unpaid, they must be taxed with the late fee and double the unpaid postage. Letters for places beyond the Colony found in these boxes without the late fee and full postage rates must be detained until the next despatch.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.—Notice is hereby given, that the partnership heretofore subsisting between the undersigned, as Flaxdressers, carrying on business at Port Molyneux, under the name of the “Port Molyneux Flax Company,” has this day been dissolved by mutual consent. All debts due to the late firm will be paid by Mr. James Paterson of Port Molyneux; and all persons indebted to the firm are requested forthwith to pay the amounts to Mr. Paterson, whose receipt will be a good discharge.
