as Provincial Secretary and Treasurer of the Province of Otago; also, his resignation as a Member of the Provincial Council, for the District of Waikouaiti.

will be offered for sale by public auction, in the Land Office, Dunedin, as Land of Special Value, on Wednesday, the 2nd day of February, 1870 at noon, at the upset price of £1 1s. per acre.

NOTICE.—Notice is hereby given, that the partnership subsisting between the undersigned, Alex. Peyman and F. H. Irwin, as photographers, and carried on in Princes-street, Dunedin, has been dissolved by mutual consent, as from the 15th day of December, 1869. All debts due to or from the late firm, will be received and paid by Mr. Irwin. Dated this 29th day of December, 1869.
