NOTICE.—The Sale of Sections in the Townships of Pembroke, Newcastle and Gladstone, advertised to be held at the Survey Office, Clyde, on the 23rd instant, is postponed until the 7th prox.

CITY OF DUNEDIN.—REVOCATION OF AN APPOINTMENT AS FIRE INSPECTOR.

It is hereby notified that the appointment of St. John Branigan, Esq., late Commissioner of Police, as Fire Inspector, under the provisions of Part 21 of “The Municipal Corporations Act 1867,” is cancelled as from this date.

CITY OF DUNEDIN.—APPOINTMENT OF FIRE INSPECTOR.—Notice is hereby given that, pursuant to the provisions of Section 331 of “The Municipal Corporations Act 1867,” Thomas King Weldon, Esq., Commissioner of Police of the Province of Otago, is appointed Fire Inspector, as from and after this date.

POLLING PLACE.—Court House, Clyde, abolished as a polling place for the election of Superintendent and Members of Provincial Council for the Manuherikia District, and the Court House, Naseby, appointed principal polling place.—N.Z. Gazette, 30th October, 1869.

In the Warden’s Court of the Otago Gold Fields District, holden at Lawrence.

Between DAVID LEWIS, Complainant, and THOMAS CANTWELL and THOMAS RANKIN, Defendants.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore subsisting between the above-named Complainant and the above-named Defendants, as Gold Miners, at Tuapeka, has this day been dissolved by decree of the Warden’s Court.
