PROCLAMATION.
Varying the boundaries of the Road District of Caversham.
By His Honor James Macandrew, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Otago.
WHEREAS by an Ordinance passed by the Superintendent and the Provincial Council of the Province of Otago, intituled the "Otago Roads Ordinance 1865," it is amongst other things enacted that until otherwise provided, pursuant to the provisions of the said Ordinance, there should be sixty-one districts, which should be named as specified in the Schedule to the said Ordinance annexed, marked B: And it is also by the said Ordinance provided that it shall be lawful for the Superintendent, with the advice and consent of the Otago General Road Board, from time to time, by Proclamation in the Gazette, to alter, vary, diminish, or enlarge the boundaries of any or all of such districts: and whereas it is expedient to alter and enlarge the boundaries of the Caversham Road District, in manner and as described in Schedule hereto: Now therefore, I, James Macandrew, Superintendent of said Province, with the advice and consent of the Otago General Road Board, do hereby proclaim and declare that the boundaries of the said Caversham Road District, shall, from the day of the date hereof, be so altered as described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
Caversham Road District.
Comprises all that area commencing at the north-west angle of section 42, block vi, Town District, and bounded towards the north by sections 46, 58, 59, 63, 64, 65, and 99, block vi, and section 4, block vii, and the Main South Road to Cemetery Reserve; thence by the Town Belt to the Anderson’s Bay Road; thence on the east by the said road to the north angle of section 69, block viii; thence on the south by the said section 69; thence on the east by sections 69 and 82, block vii, and that line continued to the Ocean Beach; thence on the south by the Ocean Beach to road line, continued south from section 32, Ocean Beach District; on the west by the said road line and part of section 77, Ocean Beach District; north by section 23, Ocean Beach District; thence on the west by the said section 23, 22, and 21, and a direct line from northern angle of section 21, Ocean Beach District, to south-west angle of section 28, block vi, Town District; thence by said section 28 to the Main South Road; thence on the south by the Main South Road to section 45 of the said block vi; thence on the west by the said section 45, and section 31, Lower Kaikorai District to point of commencement.

PROCLAMATION
By His Honor James Macandrew, Superintendent of the Province of Otago.
WHEREAS by the Ordinance of the Superintendent and Provincial Council of the Province of Otago, passed in the twenty-fifth Session of the said Provincial Council, number 280, and intituled an Ordinance to Incorporate the University of Otago, it is granted, amongst other things, that the Council of the University of Otago should be nominated and appointed by the Superintendent of the said Province of Otago, with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, within six months after the passing of the said Ordinance, and should consist of twelve Councillors, of whom six at least should be laymen: And whereas it is expedient that the Council of the said University should be appointed without delay: Now therefore I, James Macandrew, Superintendent of the Province of Otago, with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Province, and in pursuance of the power for this purpose vested in me under or by virtue of the said Ordinance, do hereby nominate and appoint
