PROCLAMATION.

By His Honor Thomas Fraser, Deputy-Superintendent of the Province of Otago.

I, THOMAS FRASER, Deputy-Superintendent of the Province of Otago, do by virtue and in exercise of the power vested in the Superintendent of the Province of Otago in this behalf by the “Taieri District Roads Lands Ordinance 1864,” and of the powers vested in me as Deputy-Superintendent of the Province of Otago, hereby proclaim and declare that all those Roads and all those portions of Roads in the Province of Otago, mentioned and referred to in the said “Taieri District Roads Lands Ordinance 1864,” and particularly described in the Schedule hereto, shall from and after the day of the date hereof, cease to be public Roads or thoroughfares, and shall no longer form part of the public Roads in the Road District in the Province of Otago, mentioned in the Schedule to the said Ordinance annexed.

SCHEDULE.

Breadalbane Road District.

1.—220 chains in length, 60 links wide, from north-west angle of section 8, block XVI, Taieri Survey District, to Dunedin and West Taieri Road, on section 13, block XVIII, Taieri; boundaries, north, sections 56, 57, 58, 59, and part of 60, irregular blocks, Taieri; south, sections 9, 10, 11, and 12, block XVI, sections 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12, block XVII, sections 9, 10, 11, 12, and part of 13, block XVIII, Taieri District, excepting three portions each 60 links square, necessary to continue road lines from blocks XVI, XVII, and XVIII, to properties on the opposite side.

Given under my hand and issued under the Public Seal of the Province of Otago this thirtieth day of July, 1869.

NOTICE.

WHEREAS it is intended to stop up that Road which is described in the Schedule hereunder written, and which is also delineated on the map or plan mentioned and referred to in the “Anderson’s Bay Districts Roads Lands Ordinance 1864,” a copy of which map or plan is deposited at the Public School of Anderson’s Bay.

Now therefore, I, Thomas Fraser, Deputy-Superintendent of the Province of Otago, by virtue and in exercise of the powers vested in me in this behalf by the “Anderson’s Bay Districts Roads Lands Ordinance 1864,” do hereby give notice that all persons objecting to the stopping up of the said Road, are required to set forth a statement in writing of any well-grounded objection they may have to the stopping up of the said Road, and to leave such statement addressed to me at my office in Dunedin, within sixty days from the date hereof, otherwise such objections will not be considered by me.

SCHEDULE.

15 chains in length, 1 chain wide, from south boundary of block I, Otago Peninsula, to eastern boundary of Application 1522, block I, Otago Peninsula, bounded on the north by Application No. 1522, and on the south by part of Application No. 1528.
