NOTICE.—On and after Monday, 31st May, 1869, the Government Offices will be open at 9 a.m. and close at 4 p.m. On Saturdays the Offices will close at noon.

STEAM CRANE—BATTRay STREET JETTY.
NOTICE.—The Steam Crane on Rattray-street Jetty will be available on and after 1st June, 1869. Masters of Vessels, or others requiring the use of it, must give due notice to the Engineer-in-charge. The charges for the use of the Crane will be for any time not exceeding one hour, 5s; exceeding one hour, in proportion.
The charge, after the first 48 hours, for goods stored in the Shed of the said Jetty, will be at the rate of 1s per ton per day, or part of a day.

IN conformity with the 29th section of the “Gold Fields Act, 1866,” it is hereby notified that it is intended to grant a lease for Gold Mining purposes to the undermentioned:
John Davies and James Phillips, pro Pea Turk Company, for two acres of land, situate in Welshmen’s Gully, St. Bathans.

APPLICATION FOR AUCTIONEER’S LICENSE.
A meeting will be held in the Government Offices, Dunedin, at noon of Friday, 18th June, 1869, to consider the application of Abraham Moses, of Dunedin, for an Auctioneer’s License. His certificate is signed by Edward De Carle, F. P. Mansfield, Edward Smith, Charles Begg, H. S. Fish, and Carl Steinhof.
