HIS Royal Highness the Duke of Edinburgh will hold a Levee in the Hall of the Provincial Council, at Twelve o’clock, on Tuesday, the 27th.
The entrée circle will be composed of Superintendent, Judge, Speaker of Legislature, Executive Councillors, Members of the Legislative Council, Heads of Clerical Denominations, Bishop Jenner and his Chaplain, Provincial Executive Councillors, Speaker of Provincial Council, Field Officers of Militia and Volunteers, Consuls who have received their exequatur, and the Mayor of Dunedin, who will assemble in the Speaker’s Room by the south entrance.
Members of the House of Representatives and Provincial Council will assemble at the Terrace entrance of the Provincial Council Hall; other gentlemen on the Terrace.
All gentlemen desiring to be presented must provide themselves with two cards with their names legibly written or printed upon them; one card to be left in the entrance hall, the other to be given to the Aide de Camp. Gentlemen must be in official costume, uniform, or evening dress.
