Notice is hereby given, that in terms of the 37th Clause of "The Otago Waste Land Act, 1866," the following Sections of Surveyed Lands in the Hillend District will be offered for sale by public auction, in the Land Office, on Friday, the 21st day of May next, at 12 o'clock noon. Upset Price, £1 per acre.

Bye-Law No. IV.
Bye-law of the Council of the City of Dunedin, made under Section 186 of the "Municipal Corporations Act 1867."
A Bye-law to restrain and suppress the keeping of houses of ill-fame within the City of Dunedin.
In pursuance of the powers and provisions contained in Section 186 Part XIII of the "Municipal Corporations Act 1867," the Council of the City of Dunedin ordains as follows, that is to say:—
"Keeping any house of ill-fame or repute, or having the control, conduct, or management of the same, or being a reputed occupier, or being an inmate of any such house."

The foregoing bye-laws was passed by the Council of the City of Dunedin, at an ordinary meeting held on Wednesday, the seventh day of April, 1869, and is now published in terms of the 190th Section of the "Municipal Corporations Act 1867."
