PROCLAMATION.

Revoking Proclamation establishing a Reformatory School.

WHEREAS by a Proclamation bearing date the nineteenth day of January, 1869, and published in the Otago Provincial Government Gazette, No. 589, I did proclaim all that building situate and being on Section numbered 41, Block VI, Town District, to be a Reformatory School within the meaning of "The Neglected and Criminal Children Act 1867:" And whereas it is expedient to revoke the said Proclamation: Now therefore I, James Macandrew, Superintendent of the Province of Otago, with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Province, do hereby revoke the said Proclamation of the nineteenth day of January, 1869.

Given under my hand, and issued under the Public Seal of the Province of Otago, this twenty-sixth day of January, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-nine.

PROCLAMATION:

Establishing an Industrial School for the purposes of the "Neglected and Criminal Children Act 1867."

By His Honor James Macandrew, Superintendent of the Province of Otago.

WHEREAS by the "Neglected and Criminal Children Act 1867," it is enacted that it shall be lawful for the Superintendent of any province to establish, for the purposes of the said Act, Industrial Schools: And whereas it is expedient and necessary to establish an Industrial School within the Province of Otago.

Now therefore I, James Macandrew, Superintendent of the Province of Otago, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Province, do hereby proclaim all that building, situate and being on Section numbered 41, Block VI Town, District, to be an Industrial School within the meaning of the "Neglected and Criminal Children Act, 1867."

Given under my hand, and issued under the Public Seal of the Province of Otago, this twenty-seventh day of January, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-nine.
