NOTICE is hereby given, that the Partnership

formerly subsisting between WILLIAM ROYSE,
JOHN BELL MUDIE, and MATTHEW ROBERTSON
MILLER, as Stock Station and Commission Agents, at
Oamaru, in the Province of Otago, under the style and
firm of Royse, Mudie and Miller, was dissolved by
mutual consent on the twelfth day of September,
1868. Dated this 26th day of November, 1868.

James Horton, late of Caversham, near Dunedin, in
the Province of Otago, gentleman, are directed to send
in their claims to Henry Dyer Maddock, of Dunedin
aforesaid, the executor named in the will of the said
James Horton (to the care of the undersigned) within
three months from the tenth day of December, 1868;
And notice is further given that after the expiration of
the said period of three months the executor of the said
Will will proceed to distribute the assets of the said
James Horton amongst the parties entitled thereto,
having regard to the claims of which the executors shall
then have notice, in manner provided by the said section.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this
twenty-eighth day of October 1868.

Present:

His EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by "The Waste Lands Act, 1858," it
is provided that it shall be lawful for the
Governor in Council, at any time and from time to
time, to except from sale and reserve to Her Majesty,
or dispose of in such manner as for the public interest
may seem best, such of the Waste Lands of the Crown
in any of the Provinces of New Zealand as may be
required for the purposes of military defence, or for the
construction of trunk lines of road, or as sites for public
buildings for the use of the General Government,
or for other purposes of public utility or convenience.
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor, with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council of New
Zealand, doth hereby except from sale and reserve to
the use of Her Majesty as sites for public buildings or
for other purposes of the General Government, the
allotments or parcels of land described in the Schedule
hereunder written.

And His Excellency the Governor doth hereby notify
to the Superintendents of the Provinces of Auckland
and Otago respectively, that the lands described in the
Schedule hereto have been reserved in terms of the Act
before cited.

SCHEDULE.

PROVINCE OF OTAGO.

Waikaia District.

All that parcel of land at Switzer’s Diggings, known
as the Court House and Police Camp Reserve, and
being bounded towards the East by a line 183° 3’ one
thousand two hundred and sixty-two (1262) links;
towards the South by lines 223° 13’ seventy-five (75)
links, 305° 30’ thirty’ six hundred and eighty-three (183)
links, 318° 57’ one hundred and fifty-seven (157) links,
250° 52’ two hundred and ninety-five (295) links;
towards the West by a line 356° 23’ 50” six hundred and
thirty-five (635) links; and towards the North-west by a
line 51° 29’ eight hundred and eighty-four (884) links.

Town of Cromwell.

All that parcel of land being sections numbers six
(6), thirty-seven (37), and thirty-eight (38), Block III,
bounded towards the North-east by section number
thirty-six (36), two hundred (200) links; towards the
South-east by Sligo Street two hundred (200) links,
and by section number five (5) one hundred (100) links;
towards the South-west by section number five (5) one
hundred and sixty-six and sixty-six hundredths
(166.66) links; and by Melfourne Terrace thirty-three
and thirty-four hundredths (33.34) links; and towards
the North-west by a line three hundred (300) links.

Town of Frankton.

All that parcel of land, being Block X., excepting
sections numbers ten (10), twelve (12), seventeen (17),
and twenty (20).

In the Supreme Court of New Zealand,
Otago and Southland District.

In the matter of the petition of JOHN MURDOCH, of
Blueskin, in the Province of Otago, expressman,
praying for adjudication of bankruptcy against
himself.

NOTICE is hereby given, that Alfred Augustus
Catomore, Esq., Registrar of the said Supreme
Court, at Dunedin, hath become and is the trustee of
the estate of the above-named John Murdoch, under
and by virtue of the provisions in that behalf in “The
Bankruptcy Act Amendment Act 1868.”
