PROCLAMATION.

Appointment of Public Kerosene Warehouses.

By His Honor Thomas Fraser, Esquire, Deputy-Superintendent of the Province of Otago.

WHEREAS the Warehouse hereinafter mentioned has been approved of by me as a fit place for the storing and keeping of Kerosene or Paraffine Oils:

Now, therefore, I, Thomas Fraser, Esquire, Deputy-Superintendent of the Province of Otago, under and by virtue of the powers vested in the Superintendent of the Province of Otago by the "Kerosene and Paraffine Oils Ordinance 1863," and the "Kerosene and Paraffine Oils Ordinance 1863, Amendment Ordinance 1864," and of any and of every other power in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim, declare, and appoint the building now standing and erected on part of Section numbered 1, Block III, in the Town of Dunedin, as and to be a Public Kerosene Warehouse, for the purposes of the before-mentioned Ordinances, and I do hereby appoint

George Murray,
of Dunedin aforesaid, to be the Keeper of the said Public Kerosene Warehouse, and I do hereby in virtue of the powers aforesaid, fix the amount of Rent and charges hereinafter mentioned to be the Rent payable in respect of any Kerosene and Paraffine Oils respectively deposited in the said warehouse, and the charges payable for receiving and delivering of such Kerosene and Paraffine Oils respectively so deposited as aforesaid:

(that is to say):—

RENT.—One Penny per case per week, or portion of a week.

CHARGES.—Receiving, One Penny per case.
Delivering, One Penny per case.

Given under my hand, and issued under the Public Seal of the Province of Otago, at the Provincial Government Buildings,

Dunedin, this twenty-second day of August
one thousand, eight hundred and sixty-eight.

NOTICE TO APPLICANTS for UNSURVEYED LAND,

under “Otago Waste Land Act 1866.”

It is hereby notified to the applicants whose names appear in the subjoined Schedule, that the Waste Land Board has declared them to be the purchasers of the sections set opposite to their names in the Schedule, and that the purchase money of these sections must be paid to the Receiver of Land Revenue in Dunedin, on or before Wednesday, the 16th day September, 1868, otherwise the applications will be deemed withdrawn, cancelled and void, and the deposit made at the time of lodging the application will be forfeited.

SCHEDULE.

Hydeham District.
James Sim, Block II, Section 23; James Sim, Block VII, Section 3; John Greenshields, Block II, Section 24; John Greenshields, Block VII, Section 4; John Bandeen, Block VII, Sections 5 and 6.
