is hereby given, that the following allotments of land in the undermentioned districts (formerly set aside as Educational Reserves), will be offered for sale by public auction, as of special value, at upset prices, as under, in the auction rooms of Mr. Henry France, at Oamaru, on Wednesday, the 29th day of July next, and subsequent days, at 12 o’clock noon:—

NOTICE is hereby given, that the above-named James Marshall and James Marshall the younger did, on the fifteenth day of June instant, duly execute a deed of arrangement, whereby they conveyed and assigned to William Hepburn, of Dunedin, auctioneer, and James Taylor M’Kerras, of Dunedin aforesaid, merchant, all the messuages, lands, tenements, hereditaments, and all the goods, wares, merchandise, monies, credits, and all other the personal estate of them the said James Marshall and James Marshall the younger, in trust for the benefit of all and singular the creditors of the said James Marshall and James Marshall the younger: And notice is hereby further given, that the said deed was this day filed in the Supreme Court of New Zealand, Otago and Southland District.

NOTICE TO CREDITORS.

NOTICE is hereby given, that by Deed of Assignment bearing date the fifth day of June, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-eight, made between James Cook, of Oamaru, in the Province of Otago, boarding-house keeper, of the first part; Joseph Booth and James Bee, of the same place, storekeepers, two of the creditors of the said James Cook (trustees for the purposes hereinafter mentioned) of the second part, and the several other persons whose names and seals were thereunto respectively subscribed and affixed, being severally creditors in their own right, or in co-partnership, or being agents or attorneys of creditors of the said James Cook, of the third part. The said James Cook did grant, convey, bargain, sell, assign, and set over unto the said Joseph Booth and James Bee, their heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns, all and singular, the real and personal estate and effects, whatsoever and wheresoever, of him, the said James Cook, in trust for the equal benefit of all his creditors: And notice is hereby further given, that the said deed has been filed in the office of the Registrar of the Supreme Court, at Dunedin, pursuant to the provisions of “The Bankruptcy Act, 1867.”
