GRANTS-IN-AID.

Grants-in-aid to the undermentioned Charitable Institutions, on condition that a statement of transactions and account of receipts and expenditure be furnished quarterly to the Government, and that a sum, equal to one-third of the grant, be raised by private subscription; and further, that the Secretary, or some other officer of such Institution, shall, before the last day of each quarter, make a Return, verified by his solemn declaration before a Justice of the Peace, to the Treasurer, of the number of persons received during the year preceding, the number of officers and servants, and the vital statistics of such Institution, together with such other and further information as the Superintendent by rules and regulations from time to time may direct:—
