CORRECTION.—The application of John Sutherland for land appeared by mistake (in Gazette No. 522, 29th January, 1868) in the list of applications for Agricultural leases which were refused.


CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF DUNEDIN.

I hereby give notice, that the Nomination of Candidates for Election to the office of Councillor for Bell Ward, in room of Mr. William Towers, deceased, will take place on Monday, the 10th day of February, 1868, at the Terrace of the Provincial Council Chambers, at the hour of noon.

Nominations must be in form of Schedule D, of the "Otago Municipal Corporations Ordinance, 1865," and be lodged at the Office of the Town Clerk, where blank forms may be had, on or before noon of the day herein fixed for the Nomination.

In the Supreme Court of New Zealand,
Otago and Southland District.

In the matter of the Bankruptcy Act, 1867.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Israel Wendel, of Dunedin, in the Province of Otago, hawker, has this day filed in this Court, at Dunedin, a Deed of Assignment for the benefit of all his creditors. And further, that the said Israel Wendel intends to apply at the next sitting of this Court for hearing applications under the said Act for a declaration of complete execution of the said Deed, in accordance with the provisions of the above Act.

In the Supreme Court of New Zealand,
Otago and Southland District.

In the matter of the petition of Donald Archibald Douglas, late of Oamaru, but now of Dunedin, in the Province of Otago, a debtor, and in the matter of "The Bankruptcy Act, 1867."

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the above named Donald Archibald Douglas has this day been adjudicated a Bankrupt pursuant to the provisions of the above Act; and that a Meeting of the Creditors of the said Donald Archibald Douglas shall be held at the Supreme Court House, Dunedin, upon the 7th day of February, 1868, at the hour of ten in the forenoon, for the purpose of appointing a person to be Trustee of the estate and effects of the said bankrupt; and that the said bankrupt shall surrender at the Court House aforesaid, upon the said 7th day of February, 1868.
