Remarks.

Thunder storms occurred on 23rd and 26th. Hail fell on the 19th and 23rd. Fog prevailed on the 11th, 14th, and 15th. Great gale on 20th and 21st, from west. The results noted where the dates are given, were recorded at the morning's observation, and therefore occurred during the preceding 24 hours.

I HEREBY GIVE NOTICE, that by virtue of the powers vested in me by Section 1 of Rule 13, Gold Fields Rules and Regulations, I do hereby declare that portion of Bracken's Creek, commencing opposite the saddle leading to New Chum Gully, and terminating at the junction of the said creek with the Arrow River, to be old worked ground; and that holders of Miners' Rights may occupy within the above boundaries, claims of double the ordinary area prescribed by the regulations.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the partnership between the undersigned, (Walter Inder and Samuel Inder), in the business of butchers, hotel-keepers, &c., at Blackstone Hill and Mount Ida, under the firm of W. and S. Inder, was this day dissolved by mutual consent, and in future the business at Blackstone Hill will be carried on by the said Samuel Inder on his separate account, who will receive and pay all debts owing from and to the said partnership at Blackstone Hill. The business at Mount Ida will in future be carried on by the said Walter Inder on his separate account, who will receive and pay all debts owing from and to the said partnership at Mount Ida.
