ABSTRACT FROM ADVERTISEMENT SHEETS

7th December, Saturday, 4 p.m., Caversham Road Rate to be paid at School room, Caversham.

13th December, Friday, noon, a heifer will be sold at Caversham Pound.

13th December, Friday, noon, a bay mare and bay colt will be sold at Hawksbury Pound.

20th December, Friday, noon, a red Bull will be sold at Hawksbury Pound.

26th December, Thursday, last day for paying Flagstaff Road Rate, at the house of David Miller, jun.

26th December, Thursday, last day for paying Wakari Road Rate, at the house of David Miller, jun.

27th December, Friday, noon, a red bullock will be sold at Oamaru Pound.

27th December, Friday, noon, a bay mare, star on forehead, will be sold at East Taieri Pound.

PRESBYTERIAN FAST DAY.

As notified in Gazette of 23rd January last, the Provincial Government Offices will not be open on Thursday next, 12th December.

TENDERS

Tenders will be received at the Office of the Secretary for Public Works until noon of Monday, 23rd December, for Contract No. 273, for Removal of Rocks at mouth of Clutha River.

Plans and specifications may be seen, and forms of tender obtained, at the Office of the Engineer of Roads and Works, Dunedin.

Tenders to be indorsed “Roads and Works Tender for Contract No. 273.”

The Government does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.


Tenders are invited by the East Taieri Road Board for forming and metalling, at per chain, 20 or more chains of road. Plans and specifications to be seen at Mr. James Aitken’s Woodside Farm, with whom tenders must be lodged on or before noon, the 21st instant.

TENDERS Wanted for Additions and Repairs to Schoolmaster’s House, East Taieri. Specifications will be seen at Mr. Waddell’s, Schoolmaster, East Taieri.

Tenders will be received till Saturday, 21st instant, the lowest not necessarily accepted.


TENDERS WANTED

by the Goodwood Road Board for the making of six miles and 20 chains of road in the Goodwood Road District. Plans and specifications may be seen at the house of Mr. Joseph Preston, Goodwood. Tenders will be received until the 1st of January, 1868. The Board does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.

TENDERS will be received, at the General Government Office, Dunedin, until noon of Monday, 16th December, current, for a small addition to Signal Master’s House, Port Chalmers. Plans and specifications will be shown by Capt. J. Robertson, at the Station, Port Chalmers.


GOVERNMENT LAND SALES IN EAST AND WEST CLUTHA AND SOUTH TOKOMAIRIRO HUNDREDS.

In consequence of the Presbyterian fast-day in Dunedin being fixed for Thursday, the twelfth December, 1867, the sale by Messrs Wright Robertson and Co., of land within the above Hundreds is hereby postponed for one day, viz., to Friday, 13th December.


AUCTIONEERS’ LICENSES FOR 1868,

in accordance with Section 3 of the “Licensed Auctioneers’ Ordinance, 1862.” The annual meeting for taking into consideration applications for Auctioneers’ Licenses, will be held in the Provincial Government Offices, Dunedin, at Noon on Thursday, 26th December, 1867, when the following applications will be considered:
