tenders with Mr Bacon for works, Beach Road,

2nd December, Monday, noon, tenders due for work
required by Kuimeto Road Board.

3rd December, Tuesday, last day for receiving applications for Annual Meeting for Auctioneers’ Licenses,
to consider applications for 1868.

5th December, Thursday, 11 a.m., application will be
made to General Road Board to alter and extend
N. E. boundary of Caversham District. See Advertisement Sheet, 20th November.

5th December, Thursday, 11 a.m., application will be
made to General Road Board to sub-divide Clevedon
and Merton Road District, and form a new District.

7th December, Saturday, last day for paying Brighton
District Rate, at the house of W. Blathwayt.

7th December, Saturday, last day for paying Corstorphine Road Assessment to Walter Johnston.

13th December, Friday, noon, a heifer will be sold at
Caversham Pound.

13th December, Friday, noon, a bay mare and bay colt
will be sold at Hawksbury Pound.

SURVEYORS.—Tenders will be received at the
office of the Secretary for Land and Works, until
noon of Monday, the 2nd December, for Contract No.
4, Survey of Bush Land, Block 1, Waikouaiti district.
Plans and specifications may be seen, and forms of
tender obtained at the Survey Office, Dunedin. Tenders
to be endorsed “Tender for Contract No. 4, Survey.”
The Government does not undertake to accept the
lowest or any tender.

Monday, 9th December, for Contract No. 271—Breakwater at Oamaru. Forms of Tender may be seen at
the office of the Engineer of Roads and Works, Dunedin.
Tenders to be endorsed “Road and Works: Tender for
Contract No. 271.” The Government does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.

WINDSOR ROAD DISTRICT.—ALTERATION OF BOUNDARIES.—NOTICE.—Application has been made to the General Road Board for an
alteration and extension of the boundaries of the above
named district in following manner, that is to say:—
Commencing at the Trig. Station (Big Hill), situate on
the boundary line between the Awamoka and Papakio
Survey District, and bounded on the north by a straight
line from the said Trig. Station to the south-east angle
of Block VI, Awamoka Survey District; and thence by
said Block VI; on the west by the western boundary
of the Awamoka Survey District to the Kakanui River;
on the south by the southern boundary of the said
Awamoka Survey District; on the east by the boundary
line between the Awamoka and Papakio Survey Districts
to point of commencement.

And Notice is hereby further given that the General
Road Board will, at its next monthly meeting, to be
held at Dunedin on Thursday, 5th day of December, at
11 o’clock, proceed to consider and decide upon such
application.

Objections must be lodged with the Clerk to the
General Board two days before the day appointed for
the meeting.
