WARD BOUNDARIES of the Incorporated Town of Lawrence, as proclaimed in Gazette of 30th October.

East Ward shall comprise all that area bounded towards the North by the town boundary, towards the East by the town boundary, towards the South by the town boundary, and towards the West by a line running in a northerly direction along the centre of Peel street, from its junction with Reid street to its junction with Canna street; thence along the centre of Canna street to Lancaster street; thence along the centre of Lancaster street by a line continued due north to the Town boundary.

Middle Ward shall comprise all that area bounded towards the North by the town boundary, towards the East by East Ward, towards the South by the Town boundary, and towards the West by a line commencing at the Junction of Ardrossan and Reid streets, and running due north along the centre of Ardrossan street, and continued in the same direction to the Town boundary.

West Ward shall comprise all that area bounded towards the North by the Town boundary, towards the East by Middle Ward, towards the South by the Town boundary, and towards the West by the Town boundary.

WARD BOUNDARIES of the Incorporated Town of Queenstown, as proclaimed in Gazette of 30th October.

Lake Ward shall comprise all that area bounded by a line along the centre of Beach street to a line in the centre of Camp street; thence along the centre of Camp street to a line in the centre of Ballarat street; thence along that line to Lake Wakatipu; thence along that Lake to a point in a straight line with the western boundary of Sections numbered respectively 13 and 14 Block XIV; thence along the western boundary of those sections to section numbered 15; thence along the south-western boundary of section numbered 15, and its continuation in the same direction to the centre of Beach street.

South Ward shall comprise all that area bounded towards the North West by a line along the centre of Ballarat street, extending from Lake Wakatipu to a line in the centre of Camp street; thence along the centre of Camp street to a point in a straight line with the north-western boundary of section numbered 17, block V; thence along that line to section numbered 5; thence along a line between sections numbered 5 and 17, to section numbered 6; thence along a line between sections numbered respectively 5 and 6, and its continuation in the same direction to the town boundary; towards the North-east by Crown Lands, three thousand eight hundred (3800) links; towards the South-east Crown Lands, one thousand seven hundred (1700) links; and towards the South-west by Lake Wakatipu.

North Ward shall comprise all that area bounded towards the North-west by Crown Lands, three thousand one hundred and thirty (3130) links, by Cemetery Reserve, two thousand one hundred and ten (2110) links, also by Crown Lands, one thousand nine hundred and thirty (1930) links; towards the North-east by Crown Lands, one thousand one hundred (1100) links; towards the South-east by Lake Ward, South Ward, and the Wakatipu Lake to the Town Boundary; and towards the South-west by Crown Lands, one thousand one hundred (1100) links.

APPLICATIONS having been received to purchase the under-mentioned Sections—Notice is hereby given that they will be sold, under the 27th Clause of the "Otago Waste Lands Act, 1866," to the present applicants at the prices affixed, unless applications shall have been received before the fourteenth day of November next, from other persons desirous of purchasing the said sections:

Town of Oamaru, Sections 6 and 19, Block 17; Sections 1, 21 and 22, Block 70, at £12 10s.

Town of Greytown, Sections 33 and 34, Block 4, £5.

Town of Outram, Sections 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5, Block 6; Sections 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10, Block 19, £5.

OWHIRO.—Notice is hereby given, that the Assessment Roll for the Owhiro Road District has been revised and corrected, and will lie open for the inspection of Ratepayers and of all persons claiming to be affected thereby, at the house of Mr. William Milne, within the said district, for fourteen days from this date, between the hours of 10 A.M. and 4 P.M. on every day not being a Sunday or public holiday.

NOTICE.—The ASSESSMENT ROLL for the year 1867-8, for the Bushey Road District, having been revised and corrected, is now ready, and may be inspected by Ratepayers or persons claiming to be affected thereby, at my house, Shag Valley, for fourteen days from date, between the hours of 10 and 4 on any day not being a Sunday or public holiday.

TO SAMUEL HENRY ANDREWS, owner of sections 24, 25, 26, and 27, block I, Hillend District, or his agent.

Take notice that I desire that the boundary or separating fence between sections 35, 36, and 2 of 37, Block I, Hillend District, my property; and sections 24, 25, 26, and 27, block I, Hillend District, your property, be made immediately; and that such fence be in accordance with Clause 1 of Schedule B, Fencing Ordinance, 1867.
