ABSTRACT FROM ADVERTISEMENT SHEETS—
31st October, Thursday, last day for inspecting Assessment Roll of Highcliff District, at the house of Mr. Wm. Tinnock, Clerk.
1st November, Friday, noon, a Horse will be sold at Tokomairiro Pound.
1st November, Friday, noon, a Red Heifer and Five Calves will be sold at East Taieri Pound.
4th November, Monday, last day for paying Mornington District Road Rate, at the house of Mr. Wm. Knox.
7th November, Thursday, 11 a.m., the General Road Board will consider an application to sub-divide Wanganloo Road District, as stated in Advertisement Sheet of 16th October.
7th November, 11 a.m., General Road Board will consider application for extending Walton Road District, by adding a portion of Brighton Road District thereto.
7th November, 11 a.m., authority will be asked from General Road Board to levy future rates for Owhiro Road District, on an assessment of the annual value of houses, &c.
8th November, Friday, noon, a Red and White Heifer will be sold at East Taieri Pound.
11th November, Monday, holiday.
15th November, Friday, noon, a bay mare will be sold at East Taieri Pound.

TOLLS in the Province of Otago to be let by public Auction, at noon of Tuesday, 3rd day of December, 1867.
The tolls authorised to be taken at the undermentioned Toll-gates and Bridges for the twelve months ending 31st December, 1868, will be sold by public auction, at the Provincial Government Offices, Dunedin, on Tuesday, 3rd day of December, 1867, at noon.

FRIDAY, 1st November, noon, last day for receiving Tenders for Supplies, &c. (as formerly advertised) for the Provincial Government for the year 1868.
NOTICE TO AUCTIONEERS.
Applications for licences, or for renewal of licences for 1868, must be lodged at the Superintendent’s office on or before the first Tuesday in the month of December next.
NOTICE.
CROWN GRANTS for the Land, and in favor of the persons after-mentioned, are now ready for delivery;
and attention is directed to the following clauses of the “Crown Grants Act, 1866.”
Clause XXXIX.—There shall be paid upon all Grants to be hereafter issued, which may be left in the charge or custody of any Commissioner of Crown Lands, or other officer charged with the delivery of the same, a fee of sixpence for every month during which they shall have been so left after the expiration of three months from the date of the notice in the Gazette of the Province wherein the lands are situate, that such Grants are ready for delivery.
Clause XL.—There shall be paid upon all Grants issued prior to the passing of this Act, and left as aforesaid in the custody of the officer charged with the delivery thereof, a fee of sixpence per month for every month during which they shall be so left after two months subsequent to the passing of this Act.
