3rd Oct., Thursday, 11 a.m., application will be made to the General Road Board to form a New Road District, to be called the Taieri Beach Road District—See Adv. Sheet.
3rd October, Thursday, last day for inspecting Assessment Roll of Owhiro Road District, at residence of Mr. William Milne.
3rd October, Thursday, 11 a.m., the General Road Board will consider application of Milburn Road Trustees, that section 27, block 11, Akatore Survey District, should be restored to Milburn District. Objections (if any) to be lodged by 2nd October.
4th Oct., Friday, noon, a White Cow, a Red Steer, one Yellow Steer, a Red Heifer, a Brindle and White (spotted) Cow, and a Black Heifer will be sold at East Taieri Pound.
5th Oct., Saturday, last day for paying Pine Hill Road Rate.
11th October, Friday, noon, last day for inspecting Waikari Road District Assessment Roll, at Schoolhouse.
12th October, Saturday, last day for paying Kaikorai District Road Rate at house of Mr. William Knox.
18th October, Friday, noon, a Bay Mare, a grey gelding, will be sold, at Oamaru Pound.
26th October, Saturday, noon, Collector for Portobello Road Rate will attend at School-house for payment of Rate.

NOTICE TO RUNHOLDERS IN THE PROVINCE OF OTAGO.—Return of Stock and Payment of Assessment.
The Runholders in the Province of Otago are reminded that a Return of Great and Small Cattle depastured on the Lands comprised in their leases must be lodged at the Land Office in the month of September of each year, in terms of Clause LXX of the “Otago Waste Lands Act, 1866,” and that the Assessment of sevenpence per head for Small Cattle and three shillings and sixpence per head for Great Cattle, must be paid to the Receiver of Land Revenue, on the first day of October thereafter, or their Runs will be inevitably forfeited.
