PROCLAMATION.

Road District of Enfield, enlarged.

By his Honor Thomas Fraser, Esquire, Deputy-Superintendent of the Province of Otago.

WHEREAS by an Ordinance passed by the Superintendent and Provincial Council of the Province of Otago, intituled the "Otago Roads Ordinance, 1865," it is amongst other things enacted that, until otherwise provided, pursuant to the provisions of the said Ordinance, there should be sixty-one districts which should be named as specified in the Schedule to the said Ordinance annexed, marked B: And it is also by the said Ordinance provided that it shall be lawful for the Superintendent with the advice and consent of the Otago General Road Board, from time to time, by Proclamation in the Gazette, to alter, vary, diminish, or enlarge the boundaries of any or all of such districts, and to increase the number of districts by forming and naming new districts.

And whereas it is expedient to enlarge the boundaries of the Enfield Road District: Now therefore I, Thomas Fraser, Esquire, Deputy-Superintendent of the Province of Otago, with the advice and consent of the Otago General Road Board, do hereby proclaim and declare that the area bounded as described in the Schedule hereto shall, from the day of the date hereof, be the boundaries of the said Enfield Road District.

SCHEDULE.

The Enfield Road District shall comprise all that area bounded on the North by the northern boundary of Blocks XVI and XV, Oamaru Survey District, and Block III, Kauroo Survey District; thence on the West by the western boundary of said Block III; thence by the northern boundary of Block II, said Kauroo Survey District, to the western boundary of Block XIV, Oamaru Survey District; thence by the western boundary of said Block XIV to the Kakanui River; thence by the said Kakanui River to the northern boundary of Lambourne Road District; thence on the South by the northern boundary of said Lambourne Road District; and on the East by the Waireka River to the western boundary of Block XII; thence by said western boundary of Block XII to the northern boundary of Block XVI, Oamaru Survey District.

Given under my hand and issued under the Public Seal of the Province of Otago, this tenth day of September, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-seven.

Land applied for under applications Nos. 70D and 75D, now surveyed and numbered, sections 12, 13, 17, 18, and 19, Block 12, Moeraki District, will be offered for sale by public auction on Monday, the thirteenth day of October, 1867, in the Land Office, Dunedin, at 12 o’clock noon.

and in the matter of the "Debtors and Creditors Act 1862," "The Debtors and Creditors Act Amendment Act 1865," and "The Debtors and Creditors Acts Amendment Act 1866."

The matter of this Petition coming on this day for the second hearing thereof, upon reading the order for sequestration and vesting of the estate of the bankrupt made in these matters and dated the 18th day of May last, and upon hearing Mr. Cook, the bankrupt’s counsel, It is ordered that George Brodie, of Dunedin, in the Province of Otago, Inspector in Bankruptcy, and interim sequestrator of the said estate, be
