ADVERTISEMENT SHEET.

ABSTRACT FROM ADVERTISEMENT SHEETS—

1st August, Thursday, 11 a.m., proposal to extend the boundaries of Waipori Road District, to be brought before the General Road Board.

1st August, Thursday, 11 o’clock, West Taieri Road Board will apply to General Road Board for power to levy further Rates on Lands, Houses, &c., within the District.

1st August, Thursday, 11 o’clock, East Taieri Road Board will apply to General Road Board for authority to levy further Rates on Annual Value of Property.

1st August, Thursday, 11 o’clock, General Road Board will consider and decide upon application to unite the Road Boards of Sawyer’s Bay and Havant.

1st August, Thursday, 11 a.m., an application will be made to the General Road Board, to proclaim a Road District at Clydesdale; also, for the Proclamation of a Road District in the Hundred of Waihola.

9th August, Friday, noon, Glenavon Road District to be elected at Mr. Wm. Strain’s house.

FRESH TENDERS

Fresh Tenders will be received until Noon on Friday, 2nd August, 1867, for the picking up of the Outer Moorings at Oamaru Roadstead.

TENDERS

Tenders will be received at the Office of the Secretary for Public Works until noon of Monday, 5th August, 1867, for:—

  1. Main Road through Dunedin, Contract No. 261, supply of 1000 cubic yards of road metal between Hillside and Water of Leith Toll-Bars.

  2. Dunedin to East Taieri Bridge, Contract No. 263, supply of 2000 cubic yards of road metal between Hillside Toll-Bar and the 6th Mile-post.

Plans and specifications may be seen, and forms of tender obtained, at the office of the Engineer of Roads and Works, Dunedin.

Tenders to be indorsed “Roads and Works, Tender for Contracts Nos. 261, 262, 263, or 264, as the case may be.”

The Government does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.
