WANTED, a DRAUGHTSMAN competent to carry on the routine of the Office of Roads and Works. Application to be made in writing to the Secretary for Public Works, on or before 1st July, 1867.
WANTED by the Waikari District Road Board, on or before Friday, 21st inst., Tenders for the formation of portions of the following Roads, viz :
Continuation of District Road from Roslyn past Messrs. Strode and Chapman’s, to the Slaughter House at Maori Hill.
Road from Maori Hill to the West Taieri Road, at Halfway Bush.
Road from the Junction at Kirkwood’s to the Water Works Road at Mr. Sheriff’s Stockyard.
Road from West Taieri Road above Mr. Hepburn’s, towards Bush Reserve.
Plans and Specifications may be seen on application to Mr. A. H. Ross, at the Survey Office, Dunedin.
Notice of New Road District in the Survey Districts of Clarendon and Akatore, to be named the Road District of Glenavon.
NOTICE is hereby given, that a Memorial from the Settlers in the Clarendon and Akatore Survey Districts, was laid before the General Road Board at the last monthly meeting, memorialising the Board to sanction the formation of a New Road District, to be named the Road District of Glenavon, and to be bounded as follows, viz. :
Commencing at the N.W. angle of sec. 19, block 3, Clarendon, and bounded on the North by sections 2 of 18, 4, 3, and 1, block 3, Clarendon; sections 20 and 16, block 2; East by sections 11 and 12, block 2; and North by blocks 2 and 4, Clarendon; and East, block 6, Clarendon; South by a line drawn from Trig. Station F to Trig Station I, and sections 20, 19, 18, 17, and 24, block 2, Akatore, and section 73 Tokomairiro; and on the North-west by sections 6, 5, 4, 2, and 1, Tokomairiro, and sections 17 and 18, Waihola.
And notice is hereby further given that the General Road Board will, at its next monthly meeting, to be held at Dunedin, on Thursday, the 4th day of July next, at 11 o’clock in the forenoon, proceed to consider and decide upon such application. Notice of objections to be lodged by or before Wednesday, the 3rd day of July, 1867.

Notice of New Road District in the Survey District of Awamoko to be named the Road District of Windsor.
NOTICE is hereby given that a memorial from the Settlers in the Awamoko Survey District was laid before the General Road Board at the last monthly meeting, memorialising the Board to sanction the formation of a new Road District, to be named the Road District of Windsor, and to be bounded as follows, viz. :
Commencing at the N.E. angle of block 4, Awamoko Survey District, and bounded on the north by blocks 1, 2, and 6; said Survey District; on the West by block 1, Maruwenua Survey District, and by block XI. to the Kakanui River; on the South by block 3 Kauroo Survey District, and by blocks 15, 16, and 12, Oamaru Survey District; and on the East by blocks 1, 3, and portion of 6, Papakaio Survey District, to the point of commencement.
And notice is hereby further given that the General Road Board will, at its next monthly meeting, to be held at Dunedin on Thursday, the 4th day of July next, at 11 o’clock in the forenoon, proceed to consider and decide upon such application. Notice of objections to be lodged by or before Wednesday, the 3rd day of July, 1867.
