EDUCATION RESERVES.—The Leases of the undermentioned Education Reserves will be disposed of by Public Auction, at the Government Offices, Dunedin, upon Thursday, the 27th day of June, 1867, at 12 o'clock noon, viz:—

WARD BOUNDARIES of the Incorporated Town of West Hawksbury.

East Ward comprises all that area situate in the Township of West Hawksbury, bounded towards the north by the town boundary, towards the east by the town boundary, towards the south by a line along the centre of Bourke-street, and towards the west by a line along the centre of Beach-street.

West Ward comprises all that area situate as aforesaid, bounded towards the north by the town boundary, towards the east by East Ward, towards the south by a line along the centre of Bourke-street, and towards the west by the town boundary.

Manse Ward comprises all that area situate as aforesaid, bounded towards the north by East Ward, towards the east by the town boundary, towards the south by the town boundary, and towards the west by a line along the centre of Beach-street.

Beach Ward comprises all that area situate as aforesaid, bounded towards the north by West Ward, towards the east by Manse Ward, towards the south by the town boundary, and towards the west by the town boundary.


CORRECTION.— Impounding Notice, last week’s Supplement.—The White Cow advertised as indistinct brand off rump, should be H off rump.

TENDERS wanted in the Kurimoto Road District, Otokia.

For the erection of a Bridge over Ridley’s Creek, and approaches thereto, together with certain other works.

Those who wish to inspect any of the Contracts, must apply to the Treasurer, on Wednesday, the 5th of June, 1867, at ten o’clock, a.m. Sealed Tenders to be sent to the Treasurer not later than Friday, 7th of June. The lowest, nor any Tender, not necessarily accepted.

CORSTORPHINE DISTRICT ROAD BOARD.— Tenders wanted for Cutting and Levelling a Hill in the Green Island Bush, at per cubic yard. Also, for Forming and Metalling about Nine chains of road. Also, Tenders for supplying a quantity of Metal for repairing a part of the road already metalled.

For particulars, apply to Mr. PETER M’LAREN, Treasurer, or PETER WRIGHT, Clerk to the Local Board, on or before 15th inst.


IMPOUNDED on the 21st day of May, 1867, by Constable Patrick Caffey, One Bay Mare, white spot on forehead, black points, indistinct brand on near shoulder; owner unknown; for trespassing on Castle street, Dunedin, and in default of being released, the above mare will be sold at the Public Pound at North Dunedin, on the 21st day of June, 1867, at 12 o’clock noon.
