ABSTRACT FROM ADVERTISEMENT SHEETS.—

24th May, Friday, noon, a Black Horse and a Bay Colt
will be sold at East Taieri Pound.

24th May, Friday, noon, a White and Yellow Bullock
will be sold at West Taieri Pound.

27th May, Monday, last day for paying Sandymount
Road Rate, at the residence of Mr Archibald McKay, Collector.

31st May, Friday, noon, a Yellow Bullock and a White
and Yellow Steer will be sold at West Taieri Pound.

31st May, Friday, noon, a Brown Mare will be sold at
Hawksbury Pound.

4th June, Tuesday, noon, Quarterly Licensing Meetings
in all Resident Magistrates’ Courts; fourteen days’
notice of applications to be made to the Clerks of Courts.

7th June, Friday, noon, a light brown Steer will be sold
at Oamaru Pound.

10th June, Monday, last day for paying Tomahawka
Road Rate, at the house of Collector.

Court House.

28th May, Tuesday, 12 noon, Sections in Herbert,
School House.

In the Supreme Court of New Zealand, Otago and Southland District.

NOTICE is Hereby Given that a sitting of this
Court will be held at the Court House, Dun-
stan, on Saturday, the first day of June next, at ten
o’clock in the forenoon, for the despatch of Criminal
and Civil business: Notice is hereby further given
that the Court will be adjourned until Monday, the
third day of June next, at ten o’clock in the forenoon,
on which last mentioned date all persons under Recog-
nizance to appear as Prosecutors, Defendants, or Wit-
nnesses, are hereby required to give their attendance.

Creditors’ Act.

EDUCATION RESERVES.—Printed Copies of the Education Board’s Amended Regulations and Conditions for the Leasing of the Education Reserves

may now be had on application.

A list of Reserves to be offered for Lease will shortly
be published; meanwhile, applications for Reserves will
be received at this office.

CATTLE CLAIMED.—

The dark brindle Bull, and
yellow and white Steer and yellow Steer, im-
pounded on the 2nd May, and advertised to be sold on
the 31st instant, are claimed.

Gentlemen who
have not paid their rates, made payable by
precept on the 25th day of December last, are respect-
fully requested to do so on or before the 1st June.

BOUNDARIES OF WAIKARI ROAD DISTRICT

as Altered and Diminished by Proclamation in last week’s Gazette:—

Waikari Road District—Commencing at Trig. Station S, Block V, Dunedin and East Taieri Survey Districts, and shall comprise all that area bounded on the
west by the eastern boundary of Flagstaff Road District
to the southern angle of Section 56, Block V, Dunedin
and East Taieri Survey District; thence on the north
by Sections 56, 57, 32, and 31, said Block V; thence
on the west by Quarry Reserve and Section 50, Block
VI, Dunedin and East Taieri; towards the south-west
by Sections 160 and 149, Waikari Survey District, and
by the Kaikorai Stream to District Road between Sec-
tions 9 and 10, Block IV, Upper Kaikorai; thence by
Sections 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, Block IV, and Sections
8, Block III; on the west by Sections 8, 6, 4, and 2,
Block III, and by Section 4, Block I, Upper Kaikorai;
on the south by the Dunedin Town Belt to the Water
of Leith Stream; on the west by the Water of Leith to
the northern boundary of Block V, Dunedin and East
Taieri; thence by northern boundary of said Block to
Trig. Station S, to place of beginning.

BOUNDARIES OF HAVANT ROAD DISTRICT

as proclaimed in last week’s Gazette:—

The Havant Road District commences at the
southern angle of Section 10, Upper Harbour, West
Survey District, and shall comprise all that area
bounded on the north and west by the said Section X,
and by Sections 4, 37, 39, 32, 31, 27, 28, 29, 30, and
portion of 50, Block IX, North Harbour and Blueskin,
to the Dunedin Town Belt; thence by the Dunedin
Town Belt to Pelichet Bay; thence on the south and
southeast, by the coast line of Upper Harbour, to the
starting point at the southern angle of Section 10,
Upper Harbour, west.
