TENDERS will be received at the Office of the Secretary for Public Works until Noon of Thursday, the 4th April, for Contract No. 253, Forming and Metalling portions of Severn and Wansbeck Streets.
Plans and Specifications may be seen, and forms of Tender obtained, at the Office of the Engineer of Roads and Works, Dunedin, and at the Police Camp, Oamaru.
Tenders to be indorsed "Roads and Works Tender for Contract No. 253."
The Government does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.

Impounded, on the 29th day of March, 1867, by Michael Hanlon, one Dark Roan Mare (no visible brands), owner unknown, for trespassing on Princes-street, Dunedin, and put to livery at Price’s Victorian Stables, for which five shillings is claimed; and, in default of being released, the above Mare will be sold at the Public Pound, South Dunedin, on Friday, the 26th day of April, 1867, at 12 o’clock noon.

Impounded on the 28th day of March, 1867, by Robert Wait, One Red Bull, branded (I) off rump, near ear cut; owner unknown for trespassing on Mr. Kennedy’s paddock, for which Five shillings damages are claimed, and in default of being released, the above bull will be sold at the Public Pound at Caversham, on Friday, the 26th day of April, 1867, at 12 o’clock noon.

KURIKOMOTO DISTRICT ROAD RATES
The General Road Board having issued a precept for the payment of a District Road Rate for the year 1867, authorised to be levied over the Kurimoto Road District—Notice is hereby given to the ratepayers within said Kurimoto Road District, that the said Rate will be payable to James L. Lauder, the Collector thereof at his house, within the said District, on or after the 10th April, 1867.
